The house is loved by its owners, adored with pictures of their kids and grandkids, you can certainly see why this Cape Cottage is such a find. On the older side, the front of the house looks like any other cape house but within it hides an open plan living/kitchen/sitting room area with two comfy couches, two small bedrooms off the living room and a view to die for. With just one bathroom it is good the patio area opens to an expansive deck with a new outdoor shower below. With a wondrous view of the lake, Vic and Carmel have thought of everything for lake life. As you walk down the stairs there are solar lights, if you want to take a dip late at night, there is private beach and dock. There is plenty to do including a paddle boat, a canoe, two kayaks, floaties, toys, and life jackets all on hand. We spent a very relaxing four days and have to say we will return when time permits to enjoy the sunsets over Jenkins pond, the floating dock to sunbath on, and the very nice neighbors who gave us suggestions for buying fish, and biking around the pond. This Cape Cottage is a little gem for a quiet family getaway and the hosts are so very accommodating, communicative and nice.
