We offer newly renovated apartment to rent in the Umbrian casale not far from the village of Montegabbione. Apartment has a large front and back terrace to catch the morning and evening sun and private separate entrance. Apartment is spacious with large sitting-room and adjoining fitted kitchen. Has two bedrooms and a modern bathroom. This first floor apartment has a splendid view across the country side . You can see Umbrian and Tuscan hills and two medieval towns Monteleone and Montegabbione. Is also very private and has lots of light coming in. Apartment has a central heating for the colder months. A supply of logs is available for those who enjoy an open fire.
We have 2 upstairs apartments and 2 downstairs apartments to rent in the main casale.
Those who enjoy making and eating Italian specialties is welcome to join us on the special cooking evenings: - making pizza in the stone oven - making fresh pasta - enjoy special saffron recipes.
You can enjoy large outdoor infinity swimming pool 16-8 meters surrounded by pine trees and garden with large steps on with large steps on one side safe for small children and elderly.
Ideal departing point towards the most beautiful art cities of the central Italy. 35 km from Perugia, 20 km from Orvieto, 110 from Rome, 120 from Florence. Easy distance to shops and supermarkets in Fabro.
We are working organic farm producing organic extra virgin olive oil, vine and saffron. We offer free seasonal organic fruits and vegetable as available from the garden. Fresh eggs daily from fee range chickens.

Franco and his family were absolutely amazing! We traveled all over Italy, and unfortunately only stayed one night here and immediately regretted it. The views were incredible. The place was very clean and also nice. We did pasta night with Franco and Maya and it was the highlight of our trip. I couldn’t believe this place wasn’t fully booked. This is truly a hidden gem and amazing experience.

Best part of out Italy trip

This was a perfect spot to stay in between the busy city centers. We stayed here after Florence on our way to Rome. The farm is wonderful!! Very peaceful place full of beauty and great food! Franco is a marvelous chef and his dinners were amazing. The pool was so refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay . The pool was lovely. The hosts were great , really enjoyed the cooking evenings where we made pasta on one night and pizza on another . It a lovely location snd very peaceful . There was no TV but we didn’t miss it at all and neither did our teenage kids . All in all a wonderful place to get away from the world and immerse yourself in Italy .

Beautiful, relaxing, and delicious

You can see everywhere the twenty years of work that Franco and Bozena have put into making their organic farm/villa a welcoming place to stay. The grounds are well-maintained and there are flowers and gardens all around. The apartments are very well equipped, with everything needed to cook with the variety of on-site produce (veggies/herbs/eggs) available (and anything else can be found in the nearby towns). But don't miss the participatory cooking nights--Franco is an excellent chef (and winemaker). The location is right in the heart of the "Green Heart of Italy" and convenient to many interesting hill towns and villages.

Incredible Experience

I have traveled all over Italy and this was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had! We traveled with adult children and grandkids. I was so impressed by how beautiful and well-kept the farm is. The apartments were very large and spacious and well stocked with everything you need to cook. Views were spectacular. Most of all, we enjoyed the pasta making and the group dinner with the other travelers. It was so nice to connect with people all over while eating Franco's amazing multi course meal. I can not say enough about how peaceful and enjoyable this visit was. We already have reservations to return!

Peaceful, Friendly, Enjoyable Umbria

With this agritourismo, the owners were always available to answer questions and assists. Franco prepares a dinner three evenings a week; just let him know if you desire to attend so he knows how much to prepare. For a nominal fee, you receive one of the best meals in Umbria, with multiple courses. Vegetables from the large garden is available for guests, at no fee. Other items are available for purchase at a very reasonable price, like the olive oil and wines grown on the farm, Parking was included and easily accessible. When we did have a Wifi problem, it was immediately addressed. Bozena actually purchased a new router and replaced the old router which had been providing intermittent connection. Linens were great, and the 2 washings machines worked fine. You'll enjoy the quiet of the country. The views all around, Particularly toward the hill town of Monteleone d'Orvieto is beautiful, and also worth a visit. The "7 Cafe" there is a great place for dinner, but call ahead for a reservation. Easy to get to, and within about an hour drive of desirable sites and cities to see, in variuos directions. We stayed a while.

Franco and Bozena were the best hosts one could imagine. Right from the drive down the olive lined driveway we knew this place would be special. Franco welcomed us and gave us a tour of the property, helped with our bags and showed us our apartment. We immediately felt at home in this peaceful and quiet place. The diners that Franco cooked for us were some of our best in Italy. Learning to make pasta with Bozena was a highlight of our holiday. If you want a peaceful, welcoming farm stay this is the perfect place. And so easy to visit Orvieto, lake Trasimeno and many Umbrian hill towns. The apartment was clean, spacious and very bright. We had a terrace for breakfast in the sun and another from which to watch the sun set. Can’t get any better. We will be back.

The location was perfect – deep in a beautiful countryside but in the same within quick and comfortable reach of the stunning cities of Perugia, Orvieto, Rome and Florence. We knew is going to be a hard work but we still enjoying every moment of it.
