You'll love staying in our home-away-from-home. If you're looking for a quiet, serene spot away from the crowds, look no more. Our photos are up-to-date & show accurate views of the condo & property. Our nightly rate is an incredible value for being an oceanfront property, where the beach & ocean are steps away from your doorstep & lanai.

Beautifully remodeled in May 2022, A12 is perfect for two people. Sleep soundly on the King bed. Tile floors will keep your feet cool. New Mitsubishi A/C (June 2023) in the main living area keeps the entire condo cool & comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room provide air movement as well. Stream your favorite TV shows on the SmartTV while lounging on the sectional sofa after a day exploring all that Maui has to offer.

You'll find beach towels, cooler, Tommy Bahama beach chairs & an umbrella in the bedroom closet. Take with you on the days you venture off property to check out more of Maui's gorgeous beaches! A Maui Revealed book in your condo will inspire your adventuresome spirit.

Starter incidentals include a roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of TP, dish soap, trash can liners, dishwasher soap & some spices/oils. We suggest bringing laundry pods & dryer sheets with you, along with your favorite hair products. Hair dryer provided. Plan accordingly if more items are needed.

Kihei Sands sits directly on one of Maui’s best beaches - world famous 5-mile long white sand Sugar Beach - great for starting your day with a walk or run. Spend mornings planning your day with a mug of freshly brewed coffee - served by 7:00 am. Evenings, watch a spectacular sunset with your loved one while you grill dinner & sip an adult beverage.

Popular activities here on Sugar Beach include year-round canoe races which can be viewed from our patio in the early mornings. Kihei Canoe Club welcomes you to join their members for an enjoyable introduction to outrigger canoe paddling during bi-weekly visitor paddles. Rent an SUP or canoe & paddle in our calm bay & serene morning waters. Grab the boogie boards & go for some wave action when the trade winds arrive in the afternoon. Sun yourself on our clean & unpopulated beach.

We weren't looking for a big resort experience for our family reunion and Kihei Sands was just perfect for us.

Only 29 units so there was always space on the patio to sit and in the pool to swim. The area was very clean and well maintained. A person works 4 hours every morning cleaning the common areas. The office staff was very helpful - we needed some help due to a medical condition. We were given all the information needed for a good experience at that clinic. That staff also helped organize a tour that we wanted to take. We have already recommended the property to some relatives.

The units were newly renovated with everything you could possibly need. The property is quiet and beautifully maintained. We had miles of empty, pristine beach to walk each day. Property managers Connie and Patrick were a delight. We've stayed at huge beach resorts before -- but Kihei Sands beats them hands down for beach access, privacy and comfort. We plan to return next year and many years to come. Expectations met and exceeded! (Also a short walk to an amazing bakery, grocer, and shaved ice stand.)

I would not recommend this unit if you like to sleep though. The porch light is hardwired which attracts bugs all night (come through the slider even) and makes it look like daylight all night long in the unit its so bright. The A/C is in the living space so if you want to cool the bedroom you have to leave the door open to "daylight". The unit either needs blackout curtains or to put the porch light on a switch. Terrible sleeping experience. Also, the pool isn't heated, even when it was 90 degrees out it was still cold. We sprung for a resort pass for a day so our kid could get in a pool and not shake. Other than that, the patio is amazing and the grills are a nice feature. Overall, I would consider coming back, but not to this unit.

The setup worked very well and allowed us to get together when needed but also some quiet time. We would have communal dinners outside on the bbq patio when the little ones went to bed.
