Minimal & Charming studio in Isola District - Farini

The apartment is a wide and bright studio that has been just renovated. The space is an open space studio and it's essentially furnished with all you need. There is a kitchen with island for a quick meal, a microwave and a portable induction cooktop.
The sleeping area is furnished with one comfy double bed; there is one bathroom with shower.
You have A/C, which is a plus during the milanese summer, and of course wifi.
The design is essential, modern and functional, your stay in Milan couldn't be better.

Key collection does not take place at the flat but we use the Key Nest service.

How does it work?

-After a confirmed booking you will receive a chat message containing a link to access the registration process. Follow the steps indicated and enter the details of all guests staying (this process is very important and required by law). You can find all information on alloggiatiweb.poliziadistato.

-Once the registration is complete, you will receive a link with the code needed to collect the keys.

You can leave the flat by 11:00 am.
The keys must be returned to the same KeyNest point by 11:30 am.
Failure to return the key by 11:30 am will result in a late check out fee of 50% of the nightly rate.
Please consider the opening hours and plan your stay accordingly.

Other important information:

- Take care of the house as if it were your own; all items inside must be returned in the same condition as they were on the day of your arrival. In case of damage, you will be responsible for the cost of the item or repair.
-Damaging the lock, losing or breaking the keys will result in an additional cost ranging from 100€ to 500€ to be borne by the guest.
- We inform guests that the facility does not provide soaps and detergents.

The moment I entered the apartment, I was just shocked by how freezing it was inside. There are no radiators, no heating units. The only thing that can heat up the place is the air conditioning. I’ve entered the apartment during lunch time and it probably took an hour to figure out with the property office on how to turn on the heating. Regardless this was not the biggest issue. The biggest issue was the gas leak in the bathroom. When I started to use the hot water, the smell of the gas was so unbearable that I almost threw up. I called the management office and explained them the issue. Told them there is a gas leak and that I’m scared for my life. The manager/property owner said that it’s impossible as it was checked a few days ago. I had to call again and say that whenever I turn on the hot water, I have a feeling that the boiler is going to explode. Same response but he added that technician is on the way. Guess what? Technician came 6 hours later at 6:30pm and confirmed that there is a leak and I have to evacuate the place. What bothered me in this situation the most is that I called multiple times and said that this is an emergency and nobody showed up until 7pm. What should have been done is someone from their office should have immediately showed up and checked that I wasn’t lying, offered a help to find me a different accommodation and offer a refund. Instead I had to find a hotel at 7pm, pay double the price and didn’t even get a sorry.

Great Location

Great location with a tram right outside with stops into the city centre. Clean apartment and a lot of provided goods. Communication from Maurizio and Francesca was brilliant, after a not so easy journey with delayed flights and baggage retrieval.
