This was the first time we had the opportunity to stay ocean front and the view was amazing! The house was clean and well equipped. Lewis was just a phone call away and made sure we had everything we needed.

The Best Vacation

Beautiful home with the most amazing views from every room. You can lay in bed and watch the beautiful sunrise in the morning. The home is spacious and clean and in a quiet area. A spectacular ocean front home! We can’t wait to come back. Definitely a five star plus!!! Thank You Louis!

This house was perfect for our group. It had enough beds and bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. The access to the beach couldn't be any better. And the views were the best.

Great stay ..!! Perfect for 2 families

Our stay was very pleasant... amazing view all around the house. Stay and comfort was just right..! Could not ask more. During covid-19 times, we got all bed spread and pillowcase, cooking utensils, ourselves.for a week stay, I wish some basics like trash bags and toilet paper to start with would have been better... Cleaning lady on last day complained too much, she complained about not covering bed spread!! So better to get clarity on clean up of home. Other than that owner was very nice. Very responsive and quick. I would highly recommend this place!

Off Season Family Stay

Our small family vacationed in late March. The house has spectacular views of the ocean and was convenient to go back and forth from the beach throughout the day. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Beds were comfortable. We’d definitely return to the property.

Good place for 2 families to vacation

Overall it was a great stay. Only bad surprise was the parking fee for each vehicle. I would definitely recommend getting a golf cart for the stay since the campgrounds is very large with lots of things to do.. The views at the house were gorgeous. Loved the porch and grilling out. The Pools were nice for the kids.

I wish we could have taken this vacation

Unfortunately we were not able to take our vacation due to last minute problems. I do want to say that Lewis was very easy to work with, helpful and returned calls and emails very quickly. The house appeared to be in a great location and we were looking forward to our family being able to use the indoor pool and miniature golf course. Hopefully we will have a chance to use this house at a later date.

Wonderful beach house at Myrtle Beach

Owner Lewis was wonderful to work with! Only improvement would be more frequent trash pickup by Ocean Lakes. Would definitely consider renting again.

Great Place

This was a very nice problem free home for a week of relaxation. The views are awesome. A dozen steps from the house and your on the beach. Many people leaving the beach would look up and in their faces you could tell they wish they were staying there. We would stay here again when coming to Ocean Lakes.

Great place for small family vacation!

We decided to come to SC in May instead of the OBX in the summer, and enjoyed our time here! The community itself it a bit cramped, however you do not feel at all cramped in this house! Great views from inside and outside the house. EASY access to the beach! Great community pools. If we decide to come back to SC we would rent this house again.

Best House on the Beach

My family has been going to Oceanlakes for 10 years now. We have been staying in this house each year for the last 4 years. ( We plan on staying here many many more years ) This house has lots of room and is very clean. It's only steps to the beach which makes it easy to set up your umbrella and beach chairs everyday. Then there's an outdoor hot/cold private shower to rinse all the sand away. Oceanlakes has all you need.... water park with slides, lazy river, pool and kiddie area. Putt putt, ice cream and snack area, Sandy Mart to buy your souvenirs, lots of activities for the kids. There's several lakes to fish at. Just get on your golf cart and ride. Nothing is better than watching the sunrise each day from the front porch, which has plenty of chairs for everyone. And of course the fireworks each night.

Great month on the oceanfront

We spent the month of February at this beach house. It was clean, cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was excellent access to the beach. We didn't take advantage of the indoor pool or other amenities offered but found so many nature based activities to enjoy between Surfside Beach and Georgetown. The location at Ocean Lakes is convenient and sunrise over the ocean every morning can't be beat. Our only complaint is that the month went by too quickly.
