Sweet 2 Bedroom Cottage 10 minutes from the beach

Located in an over 55 community this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has just been refreshed with new sliding glass door that opens onto the patio. The comfortable living room is supplied with a good sized television, programming is provided via Sling TV. A galley kitchen opens to a light filled dining area. There are two bedrooms: one with a queen sized bed and the second a twin sized daybed with a twin sized pullout under. Behind the house is a patio screened by a living fence, providing a delightful spot for dining or relaxing.

Oceanside has beautiful beaches for swimming/surfing and a wonderful pier perfect for taking a stroll at sunset. Just 35 miles to the south is San Diego and Balboa Park, home to the world famous zoo and many museums, theaters and restaurants. To the east are San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Temecula (wine country) and the Anza Borrego Desert State Park and Borrego Springs.
Disneyland is a short trip north. There are several historic missions in the area including Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside.

Fabulous Stay!

This is my 3rd Visit to this Property and it is an awesome place offering great Location with modern amenities such as a Hi-speed Internet, Central heating/Air-conditioning and a LG Flat Screen T.V. It feels more like a home than a rental. The Owner, Linda, is extremely nice and accommodating. She communicates very well and will go the extra mile to make sure that the Guests are comfortable. I highly recommend this Place.

We loved staying here. This was the second time. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable which meant good night sleeps after hiking and walks on the beach.

Very quiet neighborhood

This place worked well for our week. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. The futon in the living room serving as a couch was not very comfortable. We would have appreciated having a blender and a clean kitchen floor.

Fabulous Stay!

This is my second visit to Linda’s beautiful Cottage and I highly recommend this place. Brigitte, the property caretaker, was extremely nice and helpful at check-in. She is very knowledgable about the area and goes the extra mile to assist in every way. Linda, the Owner, is very Cordial and provides Outstanding Hospitality to all the Guests.

Work and Family

Very pleasant and quiet. I was able to work and visit with my son. Lunch on the patio was a treat. Lots of restaurants and stores near by making it a convenient location.

If I could give this property and owner 100 stars I would. Linda was super responsive in messaging me and setting up the booking. And Brigitte the caretaker next door was an absolute doll and such a welcomed sight after a 15 hour travel day. The little cottage is precious and just what we needed. So much better than a hotel. Super safe 55+ neighborhood that’s adorable and quiet. Thanks again for letting us stay!

Much nicer than the photos

We were so happy we chose this cozy home over a hotel. Linda and Brigitte fill the place with all kinds of extras, including a full load of kitchen needs, laundry soap, beach chairs with an umbrella and an ample supply of nice beach & bath towels. Helpful Brigitte and her nice husband are next door if you need anything. The neighborhood is extra safe and good for brisk morning walks. It’s a welcoming neighborhood with friendly dogs to pet. No complaints on this choice!

Awesome Getaway from Ottawa Canada

We have stayed in several VRBO location across the US and we can honestly say that this one is the best one yet. We will definitely be coming back to this location. Everything from Check-in to departure was seamless. There wasn't a thing that was missing from this unit. It made you feel like you were truly at home. Communication between Linda, Brigitte and Chris were perfect. We had Several chats with Brigitte and Chris. The neighborhood was so quiet. Location was perfect for us. Hopefully we will be able to come back next year. Many thanks again for a wonderful 10 days. Dave & Joyce

Great place, great price!

As always, clean, complete, and quiet! Bridgette has always been a great host and keeps this place immaculate. The only suggestion I have is to open the windows in between occupants, to keep the house aired out and fresh. Otherwise PERFECT,

As good as advertised

This property suited my needs to a T. It’s a quiet over-55 community close enough to the beach and other areas of interest. Check in and check out was incredibly easy and the property manager resides next door. Linda is a wonderful host and quickly responds to queries. My evaluation is that this property is great.

A Great Stay!

Linda (Owner) was easy to communicate with. She is very prompt and helpful. She has even put an umbrella in the Living Room for the Guests (for a rainy day). There is a 2nd bedroom with a day bed and also has an Office desk and a Chair. The Cottage is beautiful and is well located for an easy 5 minute drive to Restaurants and Shopping. Brigette (Property Manager) is very nice and provided all the instructions needed at Check-in. This place is a real Gem. I highly recommend it. Thank you for a Wonderful Stay.

Quiet, clean & close for vaca agena

1st stay in Oceanside. We came to vacation about 5 days. Check-in & check-out easy. Linda fast & kind with replies for rental information Brigitte helpful at Check-in tour. This property VERY well equipped with items you need for daily living AND to help with outdoor ventures as well. We visited a couple well known parks & cities nearby. Costco, Wal-Mart, Target & Smart & Final are close. Many yummy restaurants to explore. WE HOPE TO VISIT AGAIN IN FUTURE. Thank you!

A little gem

We stumbled upon this darling duplex looking to be close by our grandchildren when we visit from AZ. It literally has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing visit to Oceanside. Great location and sidewalks for walking in the over 55 community. Responsive owner/host and nice upgrades make it a lovely stay.

Enjoyable vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. The rental property was in a good location, with beaches and hiking trails a short drive away. The kitchen was well equipped and the electric grill was very convenient.
