Enjoyable stay, excellent facilities and good location. Would stay again. Parking is difficult if you have a large car.

Beautiful property in a great location
This is the second stay for us five friends in an Idyllic Suffolk property and again we were not disappointed. From the thoughtful arrival basket to the excellent location just off the high street of Hadleigh, our weekend break was just perfect. Yes, the parking is very tight, but not impossible. The cottage had everything we needed and more - a very well-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine, four very comfortable beds (we chose twin option for the king sized bed in the second bedroom, and the steep stairs to the loft reward you with a beautiful slipper bath in the master bedroom. Our only "complaint" was that the central heating was too good for us to consider using the logs and kindling left for use in the woodburner, as the weather was still quite mild when we visited.

A perfectly relaxing, long-awaited break
A gorgeous cosy cottage. Perfectly situated. We've not visited Suffolk properly before and this was an excellent location to get to the beautiful inland villages and also the stunning coastline. We found the Idyllic Suffolk website so useful for the places and pubs to visit. (We visited nearly all the pubs - and they were all excellent!) The location of the cottage, behind gates in the centre of the pretty market town was perfect for us. Both pubs in the town are worth a visit, we ate in the Kings Head too and it was lovely. We also used Spice the Indian takeaway and the Co-op on the main street was really well stocked, I think we were in there everyday! The locals are so friendly too - that doesn't happen everywhere. We've stayed in a fair few holiday cottages over the years and I'd say this one was up there in our top three! We certainly hope to come back again soon. Fabulous!

Great Location
A nice, well equipped cottage in a central location. Nice places to walk nearby and everything you could need in the town itself as far as nice pubs and shops go. The parking space is snug - as it states in the information. If you have a second or large car you can park in the nearby car park which is 24 hour for about £4 a day. Only negative is that the cottage sleeps 5, but there are only 4 dinning chairs, and it would be a bit snug getting 5 round the table anyhow. And the loft stairs are very steep - again as stated in information.

Lovely old property in an ideal location.
The main problem we experienced was getting our SRV into the car space. My husband managed every day but it was difficult.
