Our stay from start to finish was flawless. Joara was an excellent host and touched base upon arrival and departure. The property was wonderful inside and out. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax after some long days of hiking. The price was excellent and beat anything a hotel would have offered. Don’t hesitate to book this property!!

Thank you so much for choosing my retreat house for you vacation. It was a great pleasure having you. Thank you for being respectful to the house and house rules.
Both leading up to and during the stay Joara was great about providing information about the home and suggestions about the area. The family was truly impressed by her home and asked me if we could stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay at your property. Very friendly people and animals! It was the stress free vacation we needed. Good location, easy to get to our favorite places in Sedona and surrounding area.
We enjoyed staying in this home- large rooms, the kitchen had basic supplies, and drawers were well marked with the contents. It was in a lovely peaceful setting along a stream.

Quiet retreat
We loved our stay! It was incredibly quiet and peaceful and the property offers a lot to recharge yourself. It was perfect for our group with plenty of space for everyone and a nice kitchen to prepare meals together. It's also in close proximity to activities in Cottonwood and Sedona. Wonderful retreat!

I am glad you had a nice time in Northern AZ and enjoyed your stay at my retreat house. You were great guests to have. I hope you will visit again soon.
Getting out of the big city and having some relaxation. A little prayer time, good food with friends and family.. Wine tasting and sight seeing.. Very nice surrounding.
The home and location was more than expected! Loved the home decor and spaciousness, and acreage. Peter, property caretaker, addressed my one concern immediately. Would not hesitate to book again.
Perfect for three couples. Great outdoor space! A flowing brook in a peaceful setting. Simply lovely. We would absolutely come again! The host thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful bedding and towels. Fantastic stay just one very minor issue - Patio door was difficult to open and close.
Our stay was to attend a wedding in Jerome. The living, kitchen, dining is one large area and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom had a full bathroom. The little stream gave us a wonderful babbling brook sound. My sister loved it so much she plans to return for a mini retreat for herself. She said it was very calming.
Comfortable, quiet, pretty surroundings, off the beaten path but well located and easy to get to Sedona, Cottonwood, Clarkdale. Kitchen stocked with every conceivable need. Perfect getaway for all ages!
Large property, enjoyed being able to spread out, inside & outside. Very quiet location. Enjoyed hearing the chickens & local wild life. I would definitely recommend & would love to return. Loved the kitchen everything you could need!
What a secret Gem! Our family time was genuinely a beautiful experience. The pictures don’t do the place justice because you cannot feel the beauty in them that the home and property has to offer! I can’t wait to go back!
The home was clean and beautiful. Location met our needs as our family of 5 adults spent the day in Sedona (20 minutes) and traveled the Verde Canyon Railroad (15 minutes). Jerome (25 minutes) was a plus. Given the opportunity, we will stay again.
We had a wonderful stay - the property is peaceful and looks just like the pictures. The neighborhood was quiet and Athena (the dog) was very sweet.
The pantry was well stocked and we started a fire in the fireplace most evenings given the cooler than usual weather, including a couple inches of snow.
Some nice wineries around and good restaurant recommendations in Cottonwood, Sedona and Cornville.
We had been eagerly anticipating this short vacation and we weren't disappointed! The property, the owner, and the caretaker were fantastic. We all needed the respite from the corona lockdown and this provided just that. The granddaughters (5 and 3) had a blast and didn't want to leave.
From the peacefulness for the adults to the water for the kids, we all had a wonderful vacation! Thanks Joara and Peter!!!
