This condo is our "home away" and we keep it that way. We have premier located side by side condos that are snuggled up to Hughes, the main slope leading down to the Zephyr Express Lift which takes you up to "Sunspot" at 9000+ feet. When you want to return to your condo all you have to do is ski down Hughes to the "SLOW" sign for the Zephyr Lift, take a hard right to the big pine, slowly ski around the pine, check out the ski access trail leading down to the Zephyr , cross the trail and let yourself slip down the slope to the hot tubs. Take off your skis and take your skis and poles back to your private locker and you are home. The condo is convenient to everything in the Resort: the tube sliding hill, skating pond, restaurants and at the ski rental shop at the Slopeside Building you can even buy lift tickets to escape the lines at the ticket booths. There are also numerous other fun things to do for adults or children. There are easily accessible dog sled businesses, snow mobile runs and horse drawn buggies to ride in through the forest. My side by side condos are on the mountain view side of the building which means you will not be looking out at the outside parking garage with car headlights flashing by at night, nor will you be backed up to the elevator and the washing and drying room, nor will you be looking down at the trash huts next to the restaurants even though they have a pretty decor.
I have a flat screen TV in the master bedroom and living room, WiFi which is free to you. I have purchased special, thick weave spa towels for you to take to the hot tubs which are 30 inches by 54 inches. I have top of the line amenities in the bathroom, good hair driers and plush bathroom towels. In addition, there is a free Resort Shuttle bus which I have to pay for that will take you anywhere in the area, even past Devil's Thumb and Tabernash Tavern. The hallway has nice carpeting to keep the noise down and there are only 4 more units between 1405 and the last condo in the hallway. The amenities in the bathrooms are top of the line, just like the new pull out queen size bed which is part of the couch. I have also purchased new mattresses for the queen size bed in the master bedroom. I have a fully stocked kitchen ready for you and a new fridge plus the best sanitary cleaning service in the resort. They are a married couple who take pride in their work rather than college kids whose goal is to get the cleaning done in a hurry so they can get out on the slopes. You won't find any mold around the bathtub, the floors are clean and I have even installed grab bars on the walls for our safety. This is our "home away", you are our guest and our goal is to exceed your experiences with whatever the "common standard" might be.
You can sit on the back porch and watch your family go up the Zephyr Lift and you can watch them ski down Hughes when they wish to return. It's a fantastic experience for everyone. If you or the kids are hungry or have cold feet you won't have to waste valuable time finding a place to sit in a crowded ski lodge to spend fifteen dollars for a cup of chili and a hamburger. You can put your skis in your private locker, take the elevator two floors up and cook your own hamburger on the infrared grill on the porch. The premier location of my condos, the private locker room to put on boots and the 20 foot walk past the hot tubs to the ski access trail to the Zephyr is another big plus. You won't be stuck in Fraser or Winter Park Village standing in an open shelter hut waiting for the town's resort shuttle bus to pick you up to take you to the Resort, and if you are just a little unlucky you will be in that hut another half hour until another shuttle bus comes by. Just think of the precious time you lose waiting for a bus, dragging skis, boots, poles and knapsacks with sandwiches in them when you could be in our own Slopeside condo and have all that lost time actually being on the slopes enjoying your family and the togetherness of the time together.
To further enhance your ski vacation I will provide you with "insider information" related to your ski competency and match that competency with the best slopes and trails for you so you won't waste a full day trying to find the slopes to enjoy. I will also do the same procedure if you come for a summer or fall vacation and want to bike, hike the mountain or take a canoe or rubber raft down the river. I will also provide you with information which will include restaurants, ski rental places and other game and bowling places for you and your family. When you are on my guest list you will more than likely receive Winter Park Resort's 72 hour special lift ticket and ski school sales for 30 or 40% discounts.
As you have no doubt observed, my goal is to exceed your expectations rather than meet a "common standard". I realize your family vacation time is precious and my goal is for you to enjoy your family time in a spic and span condo, excellently located so that you are able to have plenty of time to enjoy family fun that will be experiences you can reminisce with family and friends for years to come.
