Big Sky's a winter playground. Hit the ski trails straight from the lodge for epic runs across 3 mountains - Lone Mountain is the iconic one. If you want something quieter, snowshoe or fat bike the trails around town, or try dog sledding for a real thrill. Cross-country skiing trails abound. Yellowstone winter adventures are another classic way to experience the Big Sky, with snowmobile guided tours or a snowcoach ride. The snowcoach offers rides in a heated, tracked vehicle over closed roads to see Old Faithful, geysers, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and tons of wildlife like bison and elk.
In summer, the Big Sky area offers endless opportunities to explore the mountains and enjoy the outdoors. Guests can hike scenic trails with wildflower-filled meadows and sweeping views of Lone Peak, go fly fishing on nearby rivers and alpine streams, or take a white-water rafting trip through Montana’s rugged canyons. Mountain biking, horseback riding, and ziplining are all available close by, along with guided wildlife tours and easy day trips into Yellowstone National Park. In town, guests can enjoy Wednesday farmers markets in Town Center featuring local food and artisan goods, as well as Thursday night “Music in the Mountains” concerts with live performances in an outdoor setting. Seasonal signature events include the Big Sky PBR and the Wildlands Music Festival, both drawing visitors from across the region. After a full day of activities, Big Sky Mountain Village offers restaurants, live music, and outdoor patios perfect for long summer evenings in the fresh mountain air.

Thank you for the kind review, Chase. It was a pleasure getting to know you and your family. The all time ski conditions didn't hurt either I'm sure...
Home was great. Large, high-end, clean. Would be great in ski season. Very nice for summer. Beautiful views but a bit far from city and resort centers. We never could find a vacuum which would have been nice with kids.

Beautiful home in a great location
Our family of 6 and 2 guests spent a week here and had an amazing time. The house sits up the mountain where the views were amazing. Very private and quiet area. The house was extremely clean, had top notch appliances and plenty of extras. After a full day of hiking, biking and fishing we relaxed in the pool and hot tub at the club house. The property manager was easy to reach and always checking to make sure we didn't need anything. The whole family is looking forward to coming back.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your time at Cascade Ridge. It was a pleasure hosting you and the family. Look forward to seeing you back!
The house was totally amazing. The club house with the hot tub was perfect after a hard day of skiing. One warning, don't store your skis in the locker in the club house to ski down to the resort the warm skis will freeze a layer of ice on them and make it imposable to ski down. Keep the skis outside by the house.
Wonderful property at Big Sky, lots of common space for hanging out and cooking, easy access to the club house and its amenities. The property manager was very responsive and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this property!
First, the house is awesome. However, the owners need to gives the home some TLC and tend to a number of items. For a high-end luxury home it needs some added elements to the house but I am sure ever renter has their own opinion. It is not an easy or true ski in an ski out. I mean you can get out (if you do not mind skiing across a paved road that may or may not have snow) but getting back is a whole other matter. For ski in and ski out I would not rent here again. Beautiful home and nice for a large party of guests. Views are awesome. Clubhouse is huge benefit.

Amazing second visit to Cascade Ridge!
The Cascade Ridge Lodge and this unit were ideal for our three families. We booked it after having such an amazing time at Big Sky and Cascade Ridge with a smaller group last year. Everyone enjoyed the Lodge at the end of the day before heading back to the well appointed house. The team at the Lodge welcomed us back and looked after us very well. Thanks again for another great vacation at Big Sky!

Better than ski-in/out
The House was great. We had 9 people and were not crowded. We had one maintenance issue and it was taken care of within the hour. The clubhouse was a definite plus. There are lockers for skis and dryers for boots and gloves. Very convenient.
