Few regions in the world are as rich in increasingly sought-after and increasingly rare values as Umbria. In this land you will find space, time and, above all, silence. To welcome you with this philosophy, in a perfect combination of luxury, nature and relaxation, will be Villa Antica Dimora. On a charming location on the hills of Deruta, a city known worldwide for the production of extraordinary ceramics, this refined and elegant style location is located within a farm of about 16 hectares of land planted with olive trees and woods. The property has at its guests' disposal up to 10 rooms and two large common rooms for convivial moments. Each room in the house has been designed with the aim of offering unexpected landscapes, where the feeling of well-being, quiet and privacy is exalted, while expressing the fascinating history from which the structure takes its name. Small glimpses of typical Umbrian beauty, from the green of the forest to the soft colors of the neighboring villages, to the distant hills from which it is even possible to glimpse Lake Trasimeno. In addition, the exclusive swimming pool where you can enjoy moments of absolute relaxation immersed in the total quiet of nature. History tells that the ancient inhabitants of the city of Perugia fled to these parts following the siege and destruction of their city by Octavian. The interior spaces of the house are enriched by ceilings in chestnut beams, large living rooms with perfectly equipped kitchens, bright openings overlooking and even with comfortable external porches. In the large garden there is also a comfortable swimming pool along with several sunbathing areas. Villa Antica Dimora is part of the property of a large farm where Cinta Senese pigs and sheep are raised for the processing and direct sale of meats together with cured meats and sausages but also oil, eggs, truffles and legumes. Not surprisingly, Umbria is also a wine tourism destination of excellence. In these parts, fine wines are also produced including Lustro and Montefalco. Near the residence, of course, pay a visit to Deruta, with its art and its ceramics, to the San Francesco wood, to Perugia, to Orvieto, to the Marmore waterfall or to Bevagna. Or go for a mountain bike ride or a rafting excursion on the Nera river.
