Uvita Home Base

We enjoyed the property, it is a newer home and the pool and bar/grilling area are awesome. Could have stayed at the property all day, but we manily used it as a base to see surrounding locations (beaches)

Adolfo’s home is a dream like house full of privacy and comfortability from inside to outside. The pool and the ranch are amazing making you feel like you never want to leave and the area is amazing because everything is so near the by. The beaches, rivers, waterfalls, restaurants, supermarkets, etc.. The house is a very comfortable house for a family to come and enjoy at uvita and as a host Adolfo is the best out there for sure. If I come back to uvita it must be to this house or else the full experience wouldn’t be there.

Little piece of heaven!

This house was amazing!! The pictures did not do it justice! There is a beautifully mature backyard surrounding the pool with tropical plants and greenery. The house is very modern and has everything you could want in a stay. The host gave us great suggestions for meals out. Our only sad thing is we didn’t book a longer stay. Would highly recommend!

A Gem In Uvita

Our group of 5 absolutely loved our stay at the hector house. It’s very close to town and an easy 8 min walk to the Main Street. AC throughout the house was great and having our own private pool and backyard grilling area was the cherry on top! We will definitely come back to the hector house and it is now one of our favorite places we’ve stayed in Costa Rica. It had all the amenities needed AND more. The host Adolfo was also very accommodating and even opened the gate for us when we arrived at 1:00 am. Thanks again for your hospitality, Pura Vida!

Beautiful house

This was a beautiful house. The pictures are very accurate. The patio & pool area are wonderful. The host was amazing, quick to reply, offered suggestions on dinner with a sunset view of the Whale Tale (low tide was at dinner time).Playa Hermosa was a fantasy free beach 5 min away, the national park was perfect but you do pay for entrance and parking. The main road was just behind the house, road noise was noticeable.My only recommendation for this host would be to increase cutlery, maybe get a set of measuring cups/spoons.

Amazing house

Pictures almost don’t do it justice. The house is new and super functional, but the outdoor areas are amazing. The pool, the outdoor kitchen—but even bette the landscaping. The area you drive through to get there is pretty basic , but everything you need (supermarket or gas or whateve) is super close. Once you open the gate to this house you are on an island unto yourself. We will be back for sure!

Great and convenient place to stay!

Our family of four (kids aged 10 and 14) had a great stay here- it is very conveniently located even if you do not have a car (we did)- can walk to the grocery, bank, multiple great places to eat, etc. The house had everything we could have wanted- a pool, outdoor AND indoor kitchen, laundry machine, dryer, and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms- it was plenty of space for us and could have comfortably fit more. There is also a portable crib for families with infants and toddlers and multiple clean pool towels and bath towels available. The owner made everything very easy and had great communication, answering any questions right away and sending detailed instructions with photos on getting into the house. We wish we could have spent longer here! We used the grill in the outdoor kitchen to cook dinners and the indoor kitchen for breakfasts. Thank you!

Nice house

The house is as beautiful as in pictures, even bigger than expected. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not well equiped with not a lot of dishes/cooking tools. We had to use the dishwasher every day as we had too few dishes, not enough for 5 people. A lot of ant were established in one of the kitchen cabinet. The toaster was working only if you old your finger on it, toasting only one side of the bread! To summarize, a beautiful house with amazing outdoor pool/kitchen that lacks basic furnitures for longer stay and comfort! Neighborhood can be surprising at first but finally we felt very safe and the owner put road sign to help find the house. Near all needed services (bank, groceries, restaurant).

We are going to add more dishes and change the bread toaster, about the outdoor kitchen I think it is a personal preference, many people on this page and Others loved it because it is like a bar type, it has a refrigerator, a grill, a sink, 6 chairs for the bar and a large granite countertop, I will attach a photo, the little ants usually arrive where there is food spread, if you don't spread food, they don't come but we will take care of that anyway. Thank you for your comments. This helps us grow every day as a small business. Thank you for highlighting the beauty and large size of the house.

Un vrai petit coin de paradis. La communication était très facile. Hôte très attentif. Très bien situé à distance de marche de dépanneurs, épicerie et restaurants. Super Haus !

Tolles Haus & entspannter Vermieter = perfekter Urlaub

Adolfo war immer und jederzeit gut erreichbar. Das Haus steht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern, ist sehr gut ausgestattet und komfortabel. Wir haben uns die Tage absolut wohl gefühlt. Schöner Pool, tolle Aussenküche ( die wir auf den Bildern vorher gar nicht registriert hatten ) zum Grillen und mit Bar. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal für Besuche vom Nationalpark Marino Ballena. Umliegend gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bars und Restaurants. Wir waren mit Leihwagen da. Vielen Dank für die tolle Woche!
