architecture are combined with contemporary touches, like bright-coloured furnishing elements and a swimming pool. Aesthetically, the house recalls traditional typologies and traditional materials, including Leccese stone, micro cement, locally sourced
and carved wood, and ceramics. However, an original influence is the reoccurring Apulian decorative theme all around the house, on the furniture and some of the walls.
