We had a great stay! Property is ideally located to enjoy all Mauna Lani has to offer. The beach gear, toys and bikes in the garage were a huge bonus. Solid rental guidance and comms from the hosts. Overall great experience

It was great staying at this property. Everything was great except one thing, the check out time was 10 am which was little early. I requested extension considering the little kids and they need more time to get ready, but the management team did not give us any extension. However, it is great property and we had a nice family time.

Great stay

Clean, open space with a large master bedroom and master bathroom. Liked the bikes, easy rides to Mauna Lani and Fairmount. Very quiet, great views of Mauna Kea.

Amazing Staycation

So very pleased with our stay. The hosting team went above and beyond for us multiple times. Only bummer was the Surrey bike was out of commission. Good thing we plan on coming back soon... this is definitely our new favorite staycation option!

December Stay

We had a wonderful time! The home was inviting, and perfect for our needs! It was great to have access to bikes, snorkeling gear, and other beach items so we did not have to rent or purchase anything. The kids had a great time watching the geckos on the patio in the evening.

Paradise!

This is the perfect location to explore the big island. The house is perfect for a family and has every beach toy you could think of. It’s close to the community pool and the nearby shopping plaza. The management team communicate by text which makes it very easy to contact them, and they respond within a few minutes. We would stay here again!

Family Vacation

This property was wonderful! The carpet in the living room had stains on it, as did the couch and chair cushions. The air conditioner didn't work the first day, but they had it fixed right away the next day. Overall, the location and property itself was great! Would recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful Home

The home was exactly as it was represented on the website. It was very comfortable and well supplied. We had everything we needed for cooking, barbecuing, and going to the beach. The neighborhood is well landscaped and the community pool was enjoyed. We had a wonderful vacation.

Great location, comfortable house

We had never been to the Big Island before, so we had no clue on location. I think we stumbled into one of the best locations on the island! Great walks all around, private beach club access and the facility itself was very quite and beautifully maintained. The house was very well appointed - great bikes, boogie boards, chairs- really well set up! I wish, especially for the price point, the house would have been a little cleaner…but overall really great house, great location, had all the amenities you’d need for a great trip!

Convenient location, clean unit, great communication

The layout of this unit is great. The furnishings are nice and a little bit better than other Mauna Lani units we've stayed at. The location of Mauna Lani is great, with access to the beach club, nice lil gym in Kamilo sub development, Food Land close by and it's a good jumping off point to head south to Kona, or up to Waimea. Property Management made check in easy and their app is good at answering questions about the unit (e.g. how to use TV, AC settings, etc..) Definitely recommend.

Can’t wait to go back.

It was our family’s first trip to Big Island. I came with my 3 sons, who are all in their 20’s, and my son’s girlfriend. This house is so beautiful & clean. The kitchen is a dream and fully stocked for anything you want to make. I would sit out on the lanai in the mornings & evenings, listening to all the birds. The neighborhood is so quiet & peaceful. Close to Shops at Mauna Lani. We loved the coffee shop, Foodland and the Island Hopper Taproom. We visited 49 Black Sand Beach, Mauna Lani Beach Club, and Waialea Beach. It was nice to use the beach chairs, towel, cooler and boogie boards provided at the house. We can’t wait to visit again.

Perfect Staycation!

We are a family of five from Hilo, Hawaii, and we booked this amazing property as soon as vacation rentals were open for stays (due to Covid-19). The owners were fabulous at walking me through the process of booking and check-in, and remained valuable help whenever questions came up. The KaMilo community is quiet, safe, and impeccably maintained. Paradise Garden Hale is absolutely beautiful. We fell in love as soon as we stepped inside! The owners have outfitted their home with everything one could possibly need during a stay. During our 9 night staycation, we were able to walk to the pool each day and it was lovely. We also made use of the beach club access—we usually ended our day there. We all enjoyed snorkeling and lounging in the cool water. The home itself was incredibly comfortable—we were totally relaxed and really felt the stress of the pandemic melt away during our stay. I have already recommended Paradise Garden Hale and the rest of the Paradise homes to several friends and family members! We are looking forward to our next stay. We were so disappointed in the property that we left 10 days early. We have rented many properties through VRBO and have never had an issue like this.Our intent was to have our daughter and son-in-law join us with their new baby, but we did not find the property suitable. The longer we stayed the more bugs we had to dispatch.We contacted the management company to let them know we left early and the property was ready for cleaning. The management company did not respond so we had to follow up with them.Simply put, anyone would have higher expectations.We have photos of the items noted below.The living room furniture is stained.The blinds in the living room and master bedroom are broken, dirty and don't function well.The lanai couch/chairs were filthy (the management company did come clean them - thank you).The lanai couch does not go with the lanai table. Imagine sitting on a couch at your kitchen table.The bathrooms were not clean and both tubs had the drains removed.The coffee maker was broken (they did replace this - thank you).The washer and dryer are in rough shape – it’s not clear they have ever been cleaned.The light in the refrigerator doesn't work.The bottom line is the property does not line up with the description and historical ratings.

We take pride in the stellar reviews that we have for this specific home across various platforms, before and after this guest's stay. Guests love the home and its amenities, the cleanliness, the community and our support staff. The guest let us know as soon as they arrived for their 3 week stay that they would be just a couple as their family would not be joining them and started inquiring about cancelling the booking. The guest reported minor issues upon arrival, like a broken coffee maker, which was replaced immediately, and some dust on the lanai, which was also addressed immediately. The lanai table had been replaced a few months earlier with an identical dimension table. The guest then stayed 11 nights or half their trip before departing early. They never once mentioned bugs during their stay. We have professional pest control quarterly in all our homes. We host over 3500 families each year in our collection of homes, including this lovely home and our team works very hard to provide clean, safe, and well appointed vacation homes for our guests, as the hundreds of 5 star reviews reflect.

Tropical oasis

My family thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2-week stay at Paradise. The location is quiet, close to the pool/gym, easy walking around the neighborhoods, slow driving cars. It was comfortable both outside and inside for my wife & I, our children, and our parents. Great layout inside the condo. Quite spacious honestly for a Hawaiian property. We had a few small requests during our time, such as miscellaneous kitchen items, a door handle fix, some extra towels, a new bike tire tube. After an easy text to the Paradise team, each item was addressed very quickly...often within a couple hours or by the next morning. We found the knives dull on arrival and a new sharp set was brought over within hours. The service was great. I also appreciated how they asked each time if they should enter if we're not there, or to wait until we were there. Very courteous. We had just a bit of trouble getting into the gated community when we arrived around midnight the first night. The turnoff for the community is not lit up or well signed. Just make sure you have a good navigator directing you if it's your first time, especially in the dark.I definitely recommend this property. We will stay here again!

Great property with a nice mountain view (very clean and spacious)! Only issue was having to share the backyard with the adjoining property, which we knew about ahead of time, but still thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Property!!

This property was even better in person than pictures. There was 6 of us and we had lots os space. It was well equipped great Bbq and back yard. The beds were comfortable and view was incredible. First time staying in the Mauni Lani area and we loved it. The Mauni Lani beach club beach was very nice and we were only a 10 minute drive from some of the best beaches. We will be back forsure!!!!

Plantation hale

Very good there was a few broken window shades, snorkel, and a bike that had a broken pedal. We had a great time and would stay there again though we feel that 10:00 AM is too early for check out

A home away from home

We felt instantly at home in this very comfortable house. The spacious layout was perfect for our family. It provided privacy for everyone and great gathering spaces as well. All the amenities, pool and club house, bikes, snorkel gear just added to the enjoyment of the location. Love it!
