Prime location, great internet and spacious backyard

We rented for over 3 weeks. I was able to work remotely with starlink internet even the rest of the town was struggling with internet. Our kids loved the pool and the backyard to play and wind down after a big day at the beach. Location is amazing, in the heart of everything and because of the privacy of the yard, we never had any issue with noise. Diego, the host, was very responsive when needed and he is very friendly. We are a traveling family, often living in a camper van. We usually don’t need very much and we are easily content. San pancho is a gem! We hope to come back next year for even longer period of time!!

Last minute Host Cancellation RUINED my vacation

The host cancelled my 7 night reservation 18 hours before check-in. Despite my reaching out to him several times in advance and advising VRBO that I was NOT getting a reply he simply cancelled the night before check-in. This left me stranded in a small Mexican town with very few options for accommodation, especially on 18 hours notice. I did not have a cellphone connection, but chatted with VRBO multiple times and received ABSOLUTELY ZERO help in finding a new place to sleep. I ended up paying much more for a hotel room, which was not available for the entire stay. All available hotel rooms were booked for the last 3 nights of my stay so I had to pay extra to have my return flight changed and spend those days in Mexico City. Be Aware ! ! VRBO is NOT there to help you in these situations. My expensive vacation was nothing but stress and disappointment because of VRBO. Air B&B treats their customers much much better in these situations. Consider yourself warned. Stay away from VRBO

Horroroso

El baño huele a drenaje todo el dia, fue insoportable, con todo y que se le puso tapones al lavabo y a la regadera. El refrigerador super viejo y hacia un ruido infernal, yo tenia que desconectarlo por la noche, con miedo a que se me hecharan a perder mis alimentos. La presión de la regadera es un chiste. El colchon de la cama esta dividido y estan super viejos y aguados. No hay cortinas para privacidad, todo mundo que pasa por fuera te ve. Te da un tollo de papel para una estancia de una semana. El internet fallaba muchisimo y por las noches se iba hasta el dia siguiente. Ademas el propietario esta remodelando una habitación y desde temprano era mucho ruido. También y eso no lo culpo, es el ruido de la construcción de enfrente, todo el dia ruido, ruido y mas ruido, y cuando piensas que ya acabo empieza la musica del bar de a lado y el de enfrente. Como a las 12 u 1 se callan pero ahora siguen los gallos, que parecen que fueran 500 mil gallos que se pusieran de acuerdo. Repito los ruidos de la construcción del edificio y los gallos ya no esta en control del propietario pero si de los demas problemas. No aguanté mas y mejor abandone el departamento aunque haya perdido lo que ya habia pagado, pero era insoportable todas esas cosas.
