Sandy Shores vacation home is a charming 2-bedroom, 2 bath rental located on the shores of popular Lake Namakagon in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. With sandy lake bottom frontage, excellent swimming, private dock, kayaks, charcoal grill, waterfront fire ring and level lakeside yard, you can plan on spending some quality time at the lake during your stay.

The 2-bedroom lake home rental features a spacious living room with skylights and spectacular views of the lake. Relax, kick back and watch your favorite DVD on the flat panel TV. With WiFi Internet, central air, and workout equipment. You’re sure to be comfortably connected and happy during your vacation.

The bright, open kitchen is fully equipped including new kitchen appliances and washer and dryer. There are 2 full bathrooms. The spacious lakeside bedroom has a king bed and walkout deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed.

The walkout, unfinished lower level is a perfect place to dry your wet gear. You have use of a tuck under single stall garage and the detached 2 car garage with electric opener along with two kayaks

Lake Namakagon is 3000 acres of four-season fun! In addition to swimming, this full recreation lake in southern Bayfield County is a popular boating, fishing and snowmobiling destination. This lakefront rental has a private dock, western exposure and enjoys close proximity to bars, restaurants and the snowmobile stick trail. In fact, you can ride your snowmobile from the front door onto the lake and Bayfield County snowmobile trails.

The house was very nice and well equipped. The rooms were large with great views of Lake Namekagon out of large windows. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We had use of the two car garage which was extremely nice as we were there in winter so we didn’t have to brush snow off the car.

Great location on the lake, peaceful and quiet. Check out Copper Falls if you like to hike! Wish the house had access to the shore from the lake side of the house - but not a huge deal for us.

Beautiful Northwoods Home

We had a fabulous weekend away at Sandy Shores! Great access to the lake for snowmobiles, but parking is a bit tight with a large trailer. Hosts were only a phone call away if needed, and everything was just as listed. Will hopefully stay again!

Short stay in early May

Great lakefront location on a very quiet street, Sat on the dock at sunrise and listened to the Loons. House was clean and the perfect size for 4 of us. Would have been nice to have chairs around the fire pit but it was cold when we visited so didn’t really spend a lot of time outdoors.

Great lakeside place

We stayed for the Birkie Trail Running Festival but wished we stayed longer. Great place to hang out. Wonderful beach for swimming. Dock good for boats. Too shallow to fish for kids…. Fed the ducks. Well stocked kitchen and great stuff
