This unique dome is just 15 minutes from downtown Cable and the Birkie North End Trail Head. Start your day on the deck with some coffee and watch the sun rise over Diamond Lake. Make a delicious meal in the kitchen while your friends and family play games up in the loft. Explore downtown Cable and the many trails in the area, whether you love fat tire biking, cross country skiing or hiking! Spend the afternoon in the sauna and the lake, swimming, kayaking or fishing. Finish the night on the deck with a Solo Stove fire or cozy up in the loft with a good movie.

Truly a fun spot to stay in the north woods of Wisconsin. The Dome itself is unique, its shape creating a Whispering Gallery, which means that sound can be heard from anywhere in the main space. As we like to say, there are no secrets in the Dome!

- Upstairs and main level beds very comfy- Kitchen was nice, modern, well stocked. - Deck and dock were in need of repair, cleaning and attention when we were there. I provided feedback to the owner and it sounds like they have plans to attend to those things in the near future, which would make the summer stay much more pleasant. - AC had a hard time keeping up with the high temperatures we had during our stay. It is a standing unit in the main living space so sleeping areas are quite warm in the summer.- This would be a very fun little cabin to stay at in the winter as the host had put some nice touches, including holiday records and games in the living space. There is also a wood-burning fireplace in the main area and I imagine this little cabin is very cozy in the winter.

This property was beautiful. It was perfect for our group and so peaceful! We would return in a heartbeat. The host was very responsive and helpful with our question when we reached out. My brother and I especially enjoyed the sauna & kayaks! Can’t say enough positive things about this property!

We LOVED our stay at the dome.

We highly recommend staying at the dome. Such a unique and beautiful space! A must stay. The home was very clean, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of fun amenities and great location! We watched the loons and eagles in the morning from the deck and took advantage of the great bike trails in the area in the afternoon. Thank you Phyllis for making our stay so special.

Peaceful up north property

We really enjoyed the stay at the dome. It was an older property but you could tell they were making improvements. The swimming area and water equipment were great. We didn't lack for anything. Peaceful property and nice quiet lake.

Relaxing and Memory Making Experience

We had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. The town of Cable had everything as well; cute little shops, a small book store with a fancy pizza place in the back. ( the food was as amazing as all of the townspeople we met) We even left a menu in the book on the coffee table at the Dome. We will absolutely be coming back to bask in the comforting ambiance of The Dome. :)

We live in the Twin Cities, and are both creatives by profession. We love the Dome and getting to spend time there with our family. It's a peaceful area, in the middle of nature. We like being able to share the space with others who want a getaway in the woods, and enjoy lake life.
