New just finished pool house! You and your family will love the pool house. There is a two-monitor work desk to hook up your laptop. Don’t miss a moment of the family fun.
House has central air conditioning and a salt water swimming pool! 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Have 6 beds in total.
-high end appliances (Viking Professional range, high end dishwasher, etc)
- bug-free clean beds and beddings
- surrounded by a wonderful organic garden!
- salt water swimming pool (use a ton less chemical and leave skin feeling smooth)
- high ceiling
- fireplace inside, firepit outside
- gas and charcoal grills
- shampoo, condition, soap provided
- kitchen stocked with dinnerware, condiments, and some snacks

It's very bright because of the skylights. You'll love the house and friendly neighborhood.

Peaceful but central location: If you're like me, you like to be close to the beach and attractions but return to an oasis away from the noise (and the drunks) at night. This is the perfect house for you then! It's ideal for anyone who wants to explore beautiful San Diego and experience where the locals live.

Don’t forget — Comic con is July 21-24, 2022.

Start your day in one of the many attractions nearby. 10-15 min to Old Town, Sea World, downtown, Little Italy, SD Zoo, beach. End your day with a bonfire in the backyard and a dip in the pool. Lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.

The office is not accessible as it's for storage. The garage is only accessible for using washer and dryer. Lots of parking in driveway.

It was a perfect fit for us!

There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room inside and the pool and outside area was great! Location wasn’t far from anything! We would stay here again!

Perfect Space & Location!

The space was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own beds and alone time when needed. The pool was a nice escape for our grandsons while we enjoyed the comfy patio chairs and garden. Great central location to all of San Diego’s best.

Excellent Stay

We are a family of Four with 2 kids (10-yr boy and 6-yr old girl). We found the house to have everything a family needs. It was very comfortable and the kids loved the pool and patio area. The location was great in a quiet neighborhood and close to groceries, shops, and coffee. As well, it was a great close location to explore all of metro San Diego. We had a great time and hope to visit again.

Great vacation home!

Our family of 5 with grown kids 19-25 stayed at this home. The location is great, central to many things; not far from the beaches, La Jolla, Old Town, and so much more. The neighborhood is very quiet with easy access to groceries and even some local dining spots. The property owner was great to work with and communicated very well throughout. I would highly recommend this property. It is just as described and better.

Padel Tournament @ King of Padel

Awesome all around! Plenty of room for 8, kitchen/bbq was well equipped and super easy. Best part of the rental was the salt water pool! Amazing! It was heated and we were literally swimming in 90 degree water! Location was great too! Seems like everything is 15 min! Thank you Daff for everything and hope to see you soon! Cheers!

What a Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO property. Great location with quick access to all the attractions locations in San Diego. The property owner Daff went above and beyond to makes us fell very welcome at her home. She communicated with us constantly to make sure we have everything we needed to make our experience a memorable one. Daff provided a world-class service to us. We recommend this property and the property manager 100%.

Great quiet location

It’s right across from an elementary school. Since school was out already - really quiet. Pool was great - leave the blanket on for at least 2 days and it really warmed up the pool a few degrees. Fully stocked for linens, towels, and kitchen items outside of food. Central location of 15-30 min drive to all major vacation hot spots to visit. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Very clean, but lacked much needed air conditioning.

Property was very clean. Kitchen appliances were upscale. Pool was great. However, lack of adequate air conditioning dampened (pardon the pun) the experience. Amenities did not mention AC, but it didn't enter our mind that a San Diego rental would not include AC. There was a free standing AC which was totally inadequate. We didn't realize that owner occupied house when not rented, and fridge had owner's food. The hot water was lukewarm. We had to locate and adjust setting. If not for the above issues (primarily AC), we would have given a 5 star rating.

Homebase for downtown SD

Air conditioner was GREAT except in the back room by the pool house. It didn't seem to cool that room. It takes a while to cool down but once you get your temp it is very nice. Everything you touch is clean. Clean kitchen. Clean bathrooms. Clean rooms. But there were cobwebs inside up high. The window shades are yellow/dingy. I’d recommend a little bit darker shade. The outside of the property could use some pressure washing on the concrete just to keep things nice. The pool area was clean and nice. But the back outdoor seating area was too buggy for my family’s liking. There are lots of plants/greenery. We were plagued by demolition on the Friday and Monday that we were there. There was street work going on. And the school across the street is undergoing a big demolition and renovation. That will be going on for a while. VRBO didn’t get back to me about that until we returned from the trip. I was not impressed with their responsiveness. And they said they wouldn’t do anything. The host couldn’t do anything but maybe warn us before we showed up. BUT, after demolition hours and on weekends the neighborhood was very quiet. Even for being on a corner lot it was quiet on the weekends. The couch is comfy to hang out on. The washer and dryer were nice. The pool was nice and warm to our liking. The pool cover is a heater. The kids enjoyed the little pool house out back. The kitchen had the little things,

We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was laid out for us with instructions and suggestions on what to do around the area. The owner was in contact with us to help us with any questions we might have that weren’t covered. We had everything we needed (toiletries, kitchen supplies, laundry supplies) minus food and drinks. House was located within a 20 min drive to everything we wanted to do.

Great location, kids loved the pool

We enjoyed this property for its central location and private pool in the backyard. Daphne was excellent at communicating with us when a plumbing issue came up the day before our stay and made sure everything was taken care of before we got there. The house was close to all the places we wanted to visit (Mission Beach, La Jolla, Coronado, Old Town San Diego, etc.) and having parking spots in the driveway was ideal for our group as we needed 2 vehicles to get around. Neighborhood is quiet and our kids loved using the pool whenever we had down time.

My neighborhood is truly an oasis. It's very family-friendly and filled with hard working, down-to-earth San Diegans who have lived in their homes for a long time. It's central but away from the craziness in other areas of the city. You will see people walking their dogs, and kids riding the bike or skateboarding around. It offers very diverse range of grocery stores right outside the neighborhood, including Vons, Sprouts, 99 Ranch (Chinese grocery store), Balboa International Market (Middle Eastern), and Target. Lots of restaurants and other shops.

The location is great. You can drive to a majority of the sites in 10-20 minutes. But you can retreat to a quiet neighborhood in the evening.
