Great stay! Would recommend highly!

Perfectly sized for our family of three! Stellar coastline views and ocean vistas. I didn't want to ever leave! Also unbelievably close to so many restaurants, bars, and groceries. A lovely walk to the Belmont section or the Pacific Beach pier. The parking spot is compact but very functional. We had a "small" SUV as per Budget - a Dodge Hornet - and had no trouble getting it inside the red line. House was well stocked with paper products & towels. We'd definitely stay here again!

This adorable little 1920s bungalow was ideal for the three of us over the weekend. It's small, but well-equipped for guests, with added touches like robes, bicycles, Kuerig coffee and creamer, and more. Comfortable beds and pillows, and plush towels were a great addition. The home has been restored and has a beautifully landscaped yard and a nice outdoor space in the rear with a seating area and table and chairs. (A small BBQ grill would be a nice addition...) The owners live in a "back" house on the same property, and were friendly and welcoming -- even invited us to their Halloween party! (We had other things going...) I'd highly recommend the place for the safety and location -- the historic neighborhood and the vibe of the whole area was great and easily accessible. Good for 3-4 adults. Madi's restaurant is just a few steps away and we ate breakfast there twice -- delectable! Thank you for a great stay!

Joan is a great host and her home is a wonderful place to a stay. Great Old Town location yet quite and safe Nice fenced yard for our pup to pee. Kitchen is nicely furnished with everything we needed to prepare our meals. We will definitely stay here again. here on next trip to San Diego

My partner and I plus our 2 dogs stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect for our activities. We packed our bikes and biked around North and South Park. The hosts thought of everything we could possibly need! I’m not sure if we have experienced more thoughtful hosts. We took our dogs to Grape St Dog Park which came in a list of recommendations the host provided. The place is well kept, comfortable and updated with new appliances. We loved the character & comfort of this home and even chose to spend an evening in instead of our original dinner plans. We hope to come back soon!

The cottage was a perfect choice for us. It had everything we needed to start our days and for the occasional dinner in. I was amazed at how close it was to so many of the things we planned but so quiet for relaxing. We had some rain while visiting so we were glad to have the extra space (as opposed to a hotel room) to entertain ourselves. I was worried about the parking but it was no problem.

Obviously from all other reviews, this property and location are amazing, with beautiful gardens to enjoy, and easy walking to so many fun spots in North Park, South Park, Balboa. Kent was so easy to connect with, and communicated quickly at all times. The house is a perfect size for 2 people. Bed is comfortable and large! The shower has shampoo/conditioner/soap available, it has great hot water and pressure, and lots of fluffy towels to use afterwards. We grilled twice during our stay, and enjoyed the ease of the grill, the relaxing environment of the patio with water feature and pretty pergola over the seating area. It is also great to have washer/dryer available, as we were there for the SD 1/2 marathon and had clothes to clean after running! Kent and his home made for wonderful memories and experiences during our trip. Thanks!
