Weekend getaway

Great spot for a weekend trip to Gold Beach with our dogs. The place was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities we needed. Wonderful stay!

An exceptional place to stay

This studio cottage is fantastic. It had everything I needed for a relaxing two weeks of vacation in Gold Beach. The fenced yard was perfect for keeping my dog from wandering or chasing the deer that wandered around in the area. It's a quiet and peaceful, and you can see the ocean and the waves on the beach. It was truly a perfect home away from home.

Cottage by the Sea

Beach Trip

We loved the view from the cottage and the sunsets were awesome! This was our first time traveling with our Lab and it was so nice to have all the dog things available. Also, the kitchen had everything you needed to fix meals. Enjoyed our stay:)

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay and the house gave us what we needed. The views were amazing good spot to have our dog. Not far from food, ocean and so many other things. The bathroom is tight and the toilet had some issues but not enough to derail our stay hopefully they fix it. They responded to us in a way that was appropriate at the time for our stay over the bathroom issue. Be careful on the road up to the house. We saw some deer right next door. Would stay again

Great place to bring you're Labrador

Best view of the bay! Up off the highway! You have the beach and the rogue river access! Our lab loved the Rogue river ! You can find many places to pull into right on the river! Then come into town and there’s the beach! Come home to a cozy nicely decorated with anything you need. They even had dog treats, leashes and a dry towel for our dog.

Access; one lane (two way) steep gravel road with blind corner.

Very close to town the way the crow flies, but not so much on foot. See title for description. The bed is so uncomfortable that I slept on my portable car bed. The shower is for short people with a God awful shower head. If you can handle the drive, bed, and shower, this place is great. Lovely fenced yard, fully stocked kitchen, very quiet, great sunsets. Perfect for bringing dogs. Washer/dryer with laundry soap was lovely, plenty of blankets/towels. The deck has a BBQ and there's room to entertain but you're not allowed to have guests.

No frills cottage

I loved that the cottage had a great view of the harbor and the ocean. The yard was a very nice bonus if you are traveling with a dog. The cottage itself is very "no thrills" living. The bed was comfortable but the carpets could use a good cleaning, and you could tell that this cottage has struggled numerous times with previous water damage as the floor was sunken in places/water damage had been painted over. There was also a small hole in the bathroom wall that was simply "plugged" with toilet paper. The shower had great water pressure but you could not adjust the shower head and the shower pan was chipping/dirty. You could tell they had washed the sheets/blankets but they need to consider using bleach, as there were some old make up stains left on the blanket/sheet. Also, if you are tall....this is probably not the place for you. The toilet is situated right in front of a wall. I am 5'7" and I fit sitting the "correct way" on the toilet but my knees were touching the wall. Even at 5'7" I found it more comfortable to sit sideways on it. Finally, I think it should be mentioned that even though this place is walking distance to the harbor/ocean, there is a VERY steep/windy driveway (and although it is not very long) we found ourselves driving to places because of the steep incline back to the home. A smaller car could make it but may be a little sketchy if it were to ever get some poor weather. No issues with entry to the home or other amenities. No guest book though.

Perfect Beach Stay

My partner and I loved this beautiful place! The ocean view is absolutely gorgeous and the bedroom is separate from the kitchen which I have never seen before and I think it’s super cool! The bed is comfy, the kitchen has everything you need and the furniture is gorgeous!! I will be searching this place out next time I need to stay at gold beach!!!

Harbor View Studio Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gold Beach Studio Cottage. We loved the new furnishings & remodeling that has been done. The only issue we had was with the small space for the toilet. If the toilet was turned in the other direction towards the sink, it might be a little more comfortable.

Sketchy neighborhood

Had a difficult time getting the lockbox open. Initial impression was cold and musty with poor looking carpets. Kind of scarey neighborhood. After we settled in we decided it was not so bad. Appreciate the fenced area for the dog. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Still, we decided to forgot our second scheduled night

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, Peaceful

This cottage has plenty of space for two. We will definitely rent again. I felt comfortable and relaxing so soon as I walked in. I like that we could watch the sunset sitting outside or inside. We did not bring our dog but was surprise to see the dog bowl and treats, that was very thoughtful of the host. Thank you!

Gold Beach Cabin in Town

Excellent accomodation, clean, comfortable bed, great Internet, kitchen well supplied, great view. Will stay here again soon. Suggestion: toilet needs more room than current location provides. Can be resolved by rotating it 90 degrees in it's current position. Had to sit on it sideways as is.
