You''ll be in the area of Leith, considered one of the nicest and vibrant part of Edinburgh, offering a unique blend of history, culture, and a lively local scene, with attractions like the Royal Yacht Britannia and the Shore. You have the sea, the mountains, the historic venues, restaurants, bars, parks, beach, lakes all within a walking distance all for you to explore at your leisure. Please bring indoor shoes and also note there are pet dogs in the property. Edinburgh Council have introduced a new 5% per night tourist tax levy, this levy is applicable for the first five nights stay, and is calculated from the total booking payment. This is payable on arrival to your host. Your booking payment does not include any tourist tax and this levy is separate and we collect it on behalf of edinburgh city council. This local tax comes into effect July 2026, any booking prior that passes the introduction date of this local tax is subject to this levy. If the Edinburgh city council amend this levy rate you will be required to adjust the amount accordingly in line with the then revised tourist tax. Many thanks.

I didn't go to the national park, but it was an easy ride on the bus to the city center. Also, the owner of the property Kari and her boyfriend Geoff were great. Absolutely delightful couple.

Kari and Geoff were warm and inviting hosts who made sure I was comfortable and welcome in their home. They took the time to walk me through anything I need to know about the place, and were friendly and receptive to any questions or advice I asked about — which meant a lot as someone visiting the UK for the first time! They have two adorable, curious and friendly dogs. The room had all of the amenities needed for a cozy stay, including extra pillows and blankets, a hair dryer, and plenty of storage available. I also appreciated the big, bright window that let in plenty of natural light through the day (even caught a perfect rainbow view one day!). Anyone who is scent sensitive should advise the hosts ahead of time as there is a plug in air freshener in the room. The location is only a couple minutes walk from the nearby bus route leading directly to downtown, making the location extremely accessible. It was a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this room to others. Thanks for Kari, Geoff & family for making me feel so welcome!

Property was old and dirty the house was a stink. The room was a very smoky of food they were no splendid and full of humans here, The floor was a sticky. I didn’t feel safe because there was a two German Shepherd dog inside the house. I had to ask if it’s okay to get out of the room. I only stayed for one night and I paid for 3 nights.that wasn’t fair.
