Beautiful setting in the the woods and home had all the amenities for a comfortable relaxing stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this log home despite the cold temperatures. The house was cozy and well equipped with everything you need from dishes, linens, videos, games, etc. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas....browsing through the shops of Littletown, snowshoeing at Loon Mountain, and just relaxing around the fireplace in the evening watching videos and playing board games. Love being cut off from electronics....social media..made for a very relaxing family get together, lots of time to chat and get caught up. Would recommend this get away to anyone who wants some quiet time away from the chaos of life.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. Part of the joy of building and owning a genuine log home is sharing it with others and keeping it in good order, a labor of love.

Beautiful comfortable log cabin

  • 5 of 5

This lovely log cabin is open and spacious with every amenity you could wish for. The first floor has an open floor plan with a cozy fireplace that is easy to operate. The bedroom on the first floor is a large master and it is directly across from a large bath/laundry room . The stairway to the second floor is massive with good solid construction which is important when you have children with you as we did. The bedrooms and bath on the second floor are huge and the bathroom has a spa tub. Our grand children were delighted with the hill outside as they were able to use their sled. We all had a great time and our grand children can't wait to go back again. We will definitely put this one on our return list.

We really enjoyed our stay in this marvelous cabin. It was so peaceful and private. The cabin was clean and offered so much. Barbara and Carl were helpful and could be easily contacted. My family and I made happy memories during our stay.

Impressive!!

  • 5 of 5

Carl and Barbara were extremely helpful and accommodating! They were very knowledgable about activities and stores in the area. Their log cabin was in impeccable condition and offered anything and everything you could imagine for needs and wants. We enjoyed zip lining, off road tour, reading books on the deck, and driving through the scenic mountains. I can't wait to book again!

Spacious and Immaculate Property

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here on a ski trip to Mt Cannon (35 min drive). The cabin was clean and spacious and well equipped for us. The cabin was stocked with extra towels and linens for all the beds, and the kitchen had all the expected cookware, utensils, and kitchenware for our group of 7. The decor was charming, and the layout of the common area was suitable for evenings in.

The main note is that there is no internet nor cell service at the cabin, which we found beneficial for a weekend away. There is a land line if necessary.

Truly the photos and descriptions don't do the place justice, and we found our whole visit admiring how nice everything was. Will definitely return in the future.
