I reside and grew up in this beautiful home full of character, beauty and family history. I left this home in 1986 to go to college. In 1989 I was married in the backyard to my children's Father and in 2013 found myself back in the home raising my youngest son. I've worked in retail my entire working life. Working for Lord and Taylor, Laura Ashley, Nordstrom, Estee Lauder and then for 16 years owned my own business servicing women and men with special event clothing. I was crowned Miss Colorado Teen Usa in 1986 and Mrs. Colorado in 2000. Placed top ten at Mrs. America. I currently work for Neiman Marcus and enjoy opening this beautiful home to guests. I love life and the lessons it teaches me through the journey. I try to live a simple life full of the simplest pleasures and that is through family, celebrations, conversation with friends, new freinds and enjoy beauty all around us that most of us take for granted.

What makes this House unique
The backyard is my sanctuary. I think of all the love, creativity, money, and labor that went into it by both my Father and Mother to make it a beautiful place where their friends could visit and enjoy. I think of the parties where the entertained friends. I think of my Uncle Ray and I picking vegetables from the garden and going inside to cut them and put a little salt on them. I think of my Dad having his morning coffee on the patio. I think of my Mom in the gazebo sharing a nice meal she made for a friend. I think of my brothers maroon Monte Carlo sitting on the driveway, I think of my other brother helping my Dad with his shows by dubbing them and sending them out in the mail. I think of my sisters beautiful blue room with a canopy bed that I had hoped to have one day. The upstairs has so much history. My Father had a radio studio upstairs. Through hard work and creativity he created a show called Sunday at The Memories. It was locally played on a radio station for years and then it became syndicated. In the highlight of his career he was played in all 50 states and Saudia Arabia. Although the radio studio is gone wallpaper from it still lingers on the wall. I remember coming home from school and opening the front door, going upstairs to my bedroom and passing his studio and hearing music from iconic singers such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Frankie Valley, the Beatles, etc. The entire home is beautiful because it showcases two people, my Mother and Father trying to do what they could do to build their dreams and the dreams of their children and face everything that could come their way with creativity, hard work and dedication to a better future.

We had a great stay
Four adults stayed for 5 days. Both bedrooms are large, with a nice common area with TV, Fridge, and microwave. The place was clean. The beds were comfortable. Access to downtown Denver is about 20 minutes by car. The owner was helpful with a couple items we forget to bring.
Wow! There is so much that is close. Boulder, Denver, the mountains. Check out a Rockies game at Coors Field or Broncos Game at Sports Authority. Several concerts throughout the year at Red Rocks, Fiddlers Green, and small venues throughout the Denver area. Some activities to enjoy are biking, skiing, fishing, hunting, and lot's of sightseeing.
