Great trip

Beautiful house with much history! It is huge, we had plenty of space despite having a large group. Great location, we were able to walk to our destinations. Would stay again.

Wonderful getaway location

We loved our stay in Dahlonega, the house was in a perfect location and the layout was great for our family reunion. All the necessities were there, and it was a care-free visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. Its location is excellent—within walking distance of downtown and very convenient for our road bike trip. We especially appreciated that it’s only about 3 miles from the Six Gap starting point, which made riding from the house very easy.The home itself, being a historic property, was well-suited for our group and worked great for accommodating a larger number of people.The only suggestion we would make is to improve the internet connection, as it was quite poor during our stay. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would gladly stay again.

Family of 14 Were Very Comfortable

Our family of 8 adults and 6 kids ages 10 yrs to 2 1/2 yrs were completely comfortable at Tumlin House. There was plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside of the house. Great yard for kids to run around and play in! Hosts were friendly and easy to work with.

Charming Dahlonega Home

We had a wonderful stay at Tumlin House in charming downtown Dahlonega as our family from all over the U.S. gathered for a wedding. I highly recommend this property for large families that provides walkable access to the shops and restaurants in Dahlonega.

Deferred maintenance; noisy (unusable) ceiling fans, dripping faucets; rotten wood, peeling paint, weather-beaten deck. One or two listing pictures that appear to be from a different property; many do not represent the current condition of the property. No face or body soap or shampoos. Slow internet. It was definitely not worth the price charged. Next stay will be at the Smith House.

Dream location!

The Tumlin House exceeded every expectation we had as a place to house my daughter’s wedding party. Each of the 6 upstairs bedrooms had the feel of a bed and breakfast and the downstairs master bedroom with its uexpansive master bath was over the top, providing ample space for the girls to get ready.

Prefect Ladies Weekend

A perfectly perfect home for our son's wedding weekend!

We are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful, historical home for our son's wedding weekend. We had ample space to welcome guests to stop by and the backyard was gorgeous and even offered enough lovely space to have our rehearsal for the big day. The stunning house was clean, updated, and comfortable yet still had the charm of a beautiful vintage home. Thanks to these great hosts for sharing this home and property with our family.

80th Birthday Celebration

We could not have been more pleased with Tumlin House. We had 13 people total and not once did we feel cramped or crowded - the multiple living spaces were perfect. And the large table in the kitchen fit everyone for the catered birthday dinner. The home was functional as well as beautiful and we would definitely recommend, especially for large groups. Easy walking to the square. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful Vacation Home

We absolutely loved Tumlin House for our family's vacation in Dahlonega. It was a beautiful home with all the amenities you could need. The home was perfect for our group of 8 and was so close to town that we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. The beds were very comfortable, however, they are all upstairs and most of them are fairly high off the ground. This is just something to note for future visitors that may have some limitations with climbing. The home was charming, we absolutely enjoyed our long weekend there and we hope to be able to return again some day!! -Mike & Stacy

Wonderful place. Made our Wedding visit memorable.

This is not a negative response, but communication about needed attention. 1) Up stairs, Right bath. Water can not shut off completely. Handle butts against backsplash preventing complete closure. 2) Refigerator freezer is not freezing. Ice nor ice cream froze while there. Our family completed loved the character of this wonderful home. Location to the square is exactly what we wanted. We felt at home. Thank you!

A Fantastic Place

This is a wonderful historic house with 7 bedrooms, each beautifully decorated. It’s well stocked with essentials and the owners were available to answer any questions we had. The location is perfect for walking around town and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Dahlonega is a perfect destination to celebrate the Christmas season. Our family loved our visit there.
