Sylvan Ray Manzanita is a relaxing 3 level, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home. The upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, a reading nook, and a full bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower. The main level has a well-appointed kitchen, dining and living area. It also has a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and a second laundry room. The downstairs has an open family room with a large wall-mounted TV, a bunk-bed room and a half bathroom. The deck area offers a BBQ and outside dining furniture. Maximum 10 guests. *Sylvan Ray Manzanita has a NEMA 14-50 EV outlet located in the garage- just bring your own EVSE to use during your visit.

"Peter - Your house was great. The kitchen was the best equipped and functional of any rental house myself or any of our crew have ever experienced. The entire house was perfect for our purposes -- made more important as there was a major storm on the coast, all rivers were blown out and our four guests and two fishing guides could not fish. So, we comfortably sat in the house, told lies, ate too much and too good of food and enjoyed fine wines and spirits. This will be an annual affair and, for sure, I will be in touch for next year's trip and hopefully can use again your great place. Thanks very much."

Beautiful place

Beautiful home. Very quiet close to the ocean. Has everything if the house you would need to cook meals. Easy to find and my family and i would definitely stay here again

Cozy and Fun!

Everyone who stayed during our 1 month visit were amazed at the level of comfort for a large family group. Access to the beach and town was perfect. The house was wonderfully appointed for cooking and with bedding and linens. The hosts are super friendly and accomodating.

Perfect for our group of 3 families!

The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and it was awesome to have 2 laundry rooms! Manzanita was a dream.

Clean, comfortable and convenient!

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely Manzanita property. From beginning to end the process was professional. The home is large, easy walk to nice grocery store, downtown shops and the beach. Great spot to explore other towns and hiking in the area. Highly recommend!

Wonderful visit

This is a lovely, well equipped home. It easily accommodated our extended family of nine, with bed options for all ages. We look forward to another return soon as we love visiting this part of the Oregon coast. Thank you to the owners for your kindness.

Cleanest vacation home ever

This was a lovely home, laid out great for our group and it was spotless. We were up the hill a bit from the beach, but the walk to the sand or downtown was easy and we enjoyed the exercise. Thanks for a great weekend!

Still Talking About the House!

My husband and I needed a week to relax, read and walk. Ok, I’m kinda picky - my three wishes: a well stocked kitchen with a diswasher, a wonderful coffee shop within walking distance and a spotless home surrounded by trees. Granted! Thanks to the owners for sharing their home.

Large welcoming home with great spaces for the entire family.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left Sylvan Ray was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, the large living room with a cozy gas fireplace. Our group was able to spread out as the bedrooms are located throughout the house. There are two separate tv areas to watch both tv and cable shows. The view of the forest feels like you're in a tree house. The house is impeccably clean! Close enough to the main street of Manzanita but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It is not close to the beach, but walkable or a short drive to the 7 mile Manzanita beach or Short Sands and Arch Cape to the north. Definitely a home that one can come back to again and again.

Beautiful place!

Great house, perfect setup for family - we had 3 kids and 3 adults, but could have easily slept 4 more. Beds were comfy, the house is well appointed and we definitely enjoyed the games and fully stocked kitchen. Hoping we can return next year!

Wonderful Place

We can't say enough good things about our recent stay. Easy booking and good communication from the owners, good living space layout for tweens/teens who want some privacy, wonderful kitchen size and amenities for cooking, clean, and quiet. Fairly close to highway, but set in the trees and noise wasn't an issue for us.

We had a great stay here for our Oregon fishing trip.

Beautiful house with lots of room for everyone. Was very kid friendly for our 3 children. We do all our own cooking and we were very impressed with the kitchen set up and utensils available. We would stay here again if available for our fishing trip next year.

Beautiful home with easy access to beach and local attractions.

We felt home was just outstanding! Excellent location and house was fully furnished. All the bedrooms and baths were well maintained and very clean. House rules are reasonable and we found home to be very clean and comfortable. It easily accommodate all 11 of us with no problems. BBQ grill and patio table a major asset. The excellent kitchen had everything anyone would want to use to cook and enjoy using. Suggest adding 3 items, recycle trash bin, full size iron board and vacuum stick broom to clean entrance floor. WE DEFINITELY WOULD RENT HOME AGAIN, LOTS OF FOND MEMORIES. Thank you so very much for a great vacation.
