Why The Owner chose Erie

I purchased the property to enjoy the benefits of bicycling and running on the Front Range and to enjoy the proximity of Boulder!Erie is one of the last quaint little coal mining towns that has been very nicely preserved and carefully introduced to tastefully finished cafes and parks.

Quiet, comfortable

  • 4 of 5

La Casita had a full kitchen, washer / dryer, etc, which we didn't use because we were in Erie for a 4-day wedding and get-together. What we did use was one of the 2 bedrooms for rest and relaxation. Also sat on the little porch in front watching the cat across the street, and letting our minds / bodies slow down to a pace that matched our surroundings. An interesting note: The roof over the bathtub/shower pitches down from one side of the tub to the other side. If you are more than 6 feet tall, you may find it a little tight. The manager. Suzie, was very helpful getting us settled and informed about places to visit. We would go there again.

Lesley's Casita is sparkling clean!

  • 5 of 5

I loved my stay! Susan and Mark , property managers who live right next door, excel so well at maintaining cleanliness and an ideal living situation.

Erie's Downtown on Briggs St is always festive., I love the Miners Tavern!

So happy to have had the opportunity to visit!

This was great location and quiet neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

The house was a 2 block walk to center of town. Great location and great size. Loved having the washer and dryer! And coffee in the morning on the back deck was nice and I saw hot air balloons go up several mornings. That was a special treat!
