This renovated property sleeps 12 with 5 bedrooms + 3 full baths - all on one level - in South Rehoboth.

The prime location makes it unbeatable for its price point. Park the car in the driveway and walk to everything. Only 3+1/2 blocks to the beach/boardwalk, 1+1/2 blocks to Silver Lake & playground, 3+1/2 blocks to Rehoboth Avenue's restaurants, bars, and shops.


If you prefer to stay in, the house is perfect for entertaining with its open, easy floor plan that flows out to the patio area, protected by a privacy fence. Cook in the large kitchen or grill out on the patio.

DR is open to the LR + kitchen. Table seats 8 comfortably - 12 if you are a close group.

Entertainment options abound with Cable TV/BluRay/DVD, WiFi, plenty of books and board games, even classic Nintendo.

Outside: Off-street parking for 2 - 3 cars; outdoor shower, large private patio in front; smaller patio in back.

Pet Friendly: Housebroken, flea-controlled pets are welcome. There is an additional, non-refundable cleaning charge for all pet rentals.

We have owned our beloved beach house for more than 15 years and have been Rehoboth Beach goers all our lives. Our goal has been to equip it and care for it as if we lived in it full-time. Keeping it maintained and comfortably furnished is important. We want our guests to feel at home.

Why Karen Howland chose Rehoboth Beach

We bought this property after many years of renting others in Rehoboth. Having stayed in many parts of Rehoboth, we particularly liked South Rehoboth. It has trees, but is not overly shady. It doesn't get any more convenient in terms of walking to all the amenities. And it hasn't been over built with McMansions that attract large noisy party groups. It is ideal for a nice relaxed beach visit.

What makes this house unique

Our house has some unique benefits that make it desirable over others. First, we are pretty much the only property that has been allowed to have a six foot privacy fence facing the frontage. Dinners and drinks on the patio do not endure the scrutiny of those strolling the neighborhood. Second - I believe we are also pretty much the only house that is all one level and does not require any steps to enter the property. Although not a main concern when we purchased the house, it has been a blessing as we and our family members have aged.

Thank you Karen for letting us spend the long weekend in your home. It was the perfect location, layout and easy, relaxing get away I hoped for. This is a lovely, well kept home with everything we needed, blocks to anywhere, but quiet, serene and felt like home :) I'll be back next year for sure.

Home Away From Home

This is the third year we stayed at this house. It has a very homey feel, even my dog loves it! The house looks unassuming when you pull up. Once you open the gate, you are pleasantly surprised. The house is very spacious. We had 7 people staying, plus the dog, and we weren't on top of each other. It is a short 10 minute walk to the beach/boardwalk, as well as many great restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet, which we prefer over the hustle and bustle of other beach towns. If there any any issues, the owner is easily accessible. I plan to stay at this house again next year.

Very pleased with the house and accommodations

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean, there were lots of supplies including a grill for us to use, and the location was great. It was a short walking distance to the beach and bars. The hosts were very responsive to us. The rooms were a good size and it slept 10 of us comfortably. There's a great outdoor patio area as well. I would come back to this house.

This home was well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay! The owners were very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. I recommend this home to anyone who wants a great place to stay. It's a short walk from beach and downtown shopping and restaurants.

Great house!

This was our 2nd stay at this house and I know we will be back again. It was very comfortable for our family of 8 adults and 2 children plus 1 dog. The kitchen has everything you might need and plenty of plates/cups/silverware. The rooms are all a good size and we loved being able to eat our meals out on the patio. Our dog was very happy to sun himself on the patio and we didn't have to worry about him because of the fence. There were lots of beach toys and chairs for us to use, and we really appreciated the cart to haul all of the stuff. It's a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, and we even drove a few times and were able to find parking close to the beach and use the parking pass provided. Thanks for a wonderful week, and can't wait to book with you again!
