Main living area offers beautiful tile, a gourmet kitchen, artwork, a 55 inch LCD Big Screen TV, and a very comfortable couch. The kitchen has all of the utensils and appliances you will need to cook wonderful meals, and the dining area seats four.

The master bedroom offers gorgeous tile floors, a queen-sized bed with finely appointed fine linens & a 30 inch TV. The master bathroom is spa like. There are also patios off both bedrooms
Quiet Time after 10pm. Noise complaints will result in loss of deposit.

This condo was the most perfect location, clean and well stocked of all the things that you need to be comfortable enjoying a little time close to the beach.The host was responsive and super easy to work with. Thanks again for letting enjoy your cute little place!

Not a luxury condo

I wasn’t going to leave a bad review because we rented our condo up in mammoth for years and I know how reviews can hurt, but I do not feel good about not saying something. This is not a luxury condo. Although the location is amazing, the pictures are not accurate. The barbecue and patios were filthy. We wore slippers or flip-flops 24/7 while walking through the condo because the floor left our feet black. Communication was horrible. I was able to get the cell phone of the wife which helped. I took photos, but I’m not able to post photos on this review so let me just say, we just didn’t feel like the owners cared about the renters. We have rented here in this complex for many years and I’ve always left five star reviews 100% of the time. This is the first time I’ve rented this specific condo. Again, this is not a condo that I feel like the owners care about. There were huge stains on the guest bedroom sheets. Just not like anything I’ve ever had when I’ve rented a condo. I hope the owners can learn from this review.

Great location

The location is perfect for long walks along the beach or to the fun spots in Dana Point The condo could use some TLC and repairs. The property manager was responsive at times. It meets the needs but is a stretch to call it luxury.

Great Location and Accommodations

The condo is in a very nice location, easy access to Pacific Coast Highway. Condo was clean and accommodated our family of 4. The kitchen was well stocked as well as plenty of towels and linens. The pool and hot tub are a short walk from the condo and was a nice place to start and end our days. The walk to the ocean is beautiful with lots of steps for beach access. There is a trolley for beach access that helps if you have accessibility issues unfortunately it was out of service during our stay, however there are many area beaches that are easily accessible that are within a short drive.

A great place from which to explore southern Orange County

This is a clean, spacious well-laid out condo that is ideally located for exploring southern Orange County, especially Dana Point and Laguna Beach. By providing us with clear directions and suggestions, the owner made it easy to find and access the unit. We only stayed three nights in order to attend our son's wedding in Laguna Beach, but my wife wanted to stay longer. The condo is a short walk to Strand Beach. On Saturday, I took a long walk on the beach and couldn't have enjoyed it more. For older guests, be advised that there is a tram available at the north end of the park to take you up and down to the beach. Another highlight of our trip was going to the Dana Point Wharf and taking a two-hour boat tour on Friday morning. We say hundreds of dolphins, several sea lions and a grey whale, which was a thrill. The owner provided several suggestions for eating spots, but one that we visited a couple of times is Tutor & Spunky's Deli in Dana Point, which is a restaurant frequented mostly by locals. It has excellent sandwiches, soups and salads, which you can eat there or take to the beach. We would definitely stay at this condo again and would recommend it to others, considering its location and price.

Dana Point Rental

The unit was very comfortable. I was glad to see that the requirement to bring your own propane for the BBQ was in error. (We didn't use it, but the thought of having to lug a propane tank for one or two meals was nuts.) The only thing that didn't work was the ice maker, however we were able to buy ice and survived. I was glad that I brought a small bar of soap and my own shampoo as well. It wasn't listed on the "provided" list and if you pay attention to that, you will do well. My wife and I took a great walk across the street to the beach one morning and it is really beautiful. We would go back and also recommendd it to anyone else!

A Grand Week at The Strand!

We were looking forward to "coming back to Orange County" after relocating to Seattle last Summer and enjoying so much of what the Dana Point - Laguna Beach Area has to offer and doing things we didn't take the time to enjoy in our 23 years here. Always key to enjoying vacation, for us, anyway, are the accomodations and we couldn't have been happier with the Condo, it's accomodations, cleanliness, functionality and proximity to the Beach. "It" lived up to all we read about it on the site, in the other reviews and we look forward to a return trip. It was as it appeared in all the photos and all appliances, amenities, etc were in working order. Huge props to Jason C who was very responsive to our needs, answering questions as the time approached, flexibility in our check-in due to a wedding we had to get to that day and his support and response after I reached out to him to raise a concern about some construction going on in the Community during our stay. Being in the retail food and drug business, I am always keenly aware of opportunities to provide a great guest experience and am equally critical when "it ain't happening!"......well, Jason saw the opporutnity and seized it! Can't fully express my family's appreciation for how we were treated and how much we enjoyed the property! We were in need of some "down-time" and "family time" and we took advantage of all the opportunities to do just that! I highly recommend the property and look forward to our next trip back to see friends!

Fun Week in Dana Point

Condo was nice. Beds were comfortable. Owners were responsive to problems we reported to them and resolved issues quickly. The only big problem we had was really out of the owners control, but it would have been nice to know, was that there was major construction going on in the condo complex and the staging area was right outside the condo, so there was the sound of trucks going back and forth from 7AM to 5PM Monday through Friday. Fortunately we were usually out of the condo by 10AM everyday, and didn't return until after 5:00PM. Other than the construction, the complex was very quite. There is a nice pool in the complex which is away from the sound of construction. The beach is about a 10 min. walk away and it was spectacular. The water was warm, Lifeguards are on duty. Nice beach to walk on in the morning. Great place for kids to play in the sand. The only problem with the beach was that there are a lot of stairs to get to the beach, and even though there is a funicular to take you from the top of the stairs to the bottom of the stairs, if you can't walk the stairs. There is still a steep paved ramp to walk down to get to the sand. This beach would not be too accessible if you have walking problems or are in a wheel chair. My mother who is 87 couldn't walk down the ramp to the sand. There are, however, other beaches in the area that don't have that issue. This is just the only beach in walking distance. The Dana Point Marina was about a 10 min Drive away. There are some good Restaurants close by in the marina area and in downtown Dana Point. Especially Thai This. Laguna Beach is only short drive up the coast, with its great beach and lots of shopping. Had a fabulous week in the sun.

Everything you want in a Vacation home

Everything you have read about this place is true!! We have traveled alot and in most cases your vacation experience is either enhanced or hindered by the spot you choose to stay in. We could not have asked for a better vacation spot in terms of location, location, location. Our condo was a parking lot across from the scenic STRAND beach with panoramic views of the Dana Point coastline. This was particular breathtaking on JULY 4th when right outside our condo were maybe 4 different firework shows all visible from the beach. The pool was a huge surprise and very well utilized by our 5 and 9 y.o. The actual condo was very cozy, well kept, and most importantly comfortable. It made our travels even more sublime with the ability to wash our clothes with the in-house washer dryer units. Yeah pretty much short of a concierge and chocolates under your pillow every day this was equivalent to a first class 5 star hotel. Also thank you Jason for being so responsive with all our needs.

Only OK Apartment, Great Location

This apartment is a bottom floor, outer unit that looks onto the apartment complex parking lot. There is not a lot of light and the views are not great (you are mostly looking at cars). The apartment was pretty clean, however the second bathroom is moldy and gives off a strong odor when the door is left open. The bedroom floors stained our feet brown when we walked around the apartment barefoot. It could be the stain on the floors (and not dirt since the apartment was clean besides that) but it was not a nice experience walking around barefoot. Especially if you have kids who like to play on the floor. The location was great. Across from an absolutely gorgeous beach. And there is a nice swimming pool in the apartment complex. My biggest complaint is that the owners of the apartment are NOT responsive. While we were staying at the apartment I emailed them to ask about the hardwood floors staining our feet and I never heard back. A few days later they emailed me to make sure we knew we had to leave at check out time (due to another couple checking in) and when I asked about the hardwood floors they pretended like they never received the email. Once at home I emailed them asking when I should expect to receive our security deposit back. They did not respond. I emailed them again 10 days later, and still nothing. On day 14, when the security deposit was due back (based on the rental agreement) they emailed me that it had been returned. It is not a nice experience staying at a place if the owners are not helpful in answering your questions or concerns. I would recommend this place if you do not want to spend a lot of money, want to be next to a great beach, and you need a place to crash. Otherwise, I would pass.

loved this condo! We'll be back for many years to come. Loved the accommodations- extras including sand toys & boogie boards. Great location to restaurants. Small walk to nice clean beach. It has everything- tile floors, granite countertops, fully stocked dish ware and even laundry soap!

Great Spot

The place was exactly as advertised (in fact was a bit bigger than we expected). It was very clean and had all the amenities of home. All the transactions including refund of our deposit went very smoothly and I was able to get a hold of the owners by phone and e-mail prior to the trip to answer any questions. I would recommended this place for anyone with children. Right by one of the best beaches in Southern California.

Comfortable Condo Close to Beach

Condo was not fancy but was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was great and two porches nice bonus. Bedrooms roomy plus plenty of air mattresses for extra guests. Nice area - great walk to beach plus close to Laguna and San Clemente. Some nice hiking. Great sunsets. Having this condo made our week very easy.

Great place

Took my kids to Disney but didnt want to stay at Disney. This place had a great location and set up for my wife and children. Easy walk to a beautiful beach...The ktichen/bathrooms in the unit were all brand new and nice. Pool and hot tub at the complex were very well kept and almost private. Would definitely return.

Wonderful week near Laguna Beach and in Beautiful Dana Point

My family and I enjoyed a relaxing week at this location. It was a nice surprise to find so many extras in the condo such as beach toys, (boogie board, surf board, buckets, shovels etc) as well a beach towels and comfortable beds to fall into at night after a day of vacationing. The kitchen even had a espresso maker. The condo is located in a very large condominium complex. The pool and hot tub were a short walk away. You do not have an ocean view from inside the condo but you can see the ocean as soon as you walk out into the parking lot....To get to the beach you have to walk down a steep path but there is an elevator system down a bit if you have to carry a lot of things for your day at the beach. The condo is in great condition and we were very grateful to have been able to spend a week there.

I recently rented this condo with for a weeks vacation with my grandson and his girlfriend. It was very nice, and we all enjoyed it tremendously. It had everything anyone could want, plus some extras .. beach across the street, lovely pool, comfortable beds, and an ample supply of large screen TV's. In addition, the Dana Point location is within driving distance of any and all attractions, in Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties.

Relaxing at Dana Point

The Condo was fully equipped for a comfortable stay. We loved the pool and spent relaxing days swimming and in the hot tub. Location to the beach was perfect and the views and vibe of the area was amazing. There were not any surprises in arrival and would recommend this condo to family and friends:)

Great vacation, great home, owner is very nice

The condo was great for our family get-a-way! It had everything we needed! It was super clean, we cooked an amazing dinner in a kitchen that I hate to admit was nicer then I have at home. We absolutely loved the neighborhood, great beach, great restaurants, and tons to do. It was so much nicer then we expected, and we came with very high expectations because the pictures on the website were so beautiful. Highly recommend!
