Spacious two bedroom, two full bath 1,500 sq ft townhouse in Wailea's premier beachfront destination. Literally walk to Wailea Blue Golf Course, directly across the street. This residence has partial ocean views from the lanai, living room, kitchen and master bedroom, and is only a 4 minute walk to Ulua beach, consistently voted one of the top 10 beaches on the island.

The unit offers an updated kitchen, huge private front and back lanais, new pull-out sleeper sofa (with premium 8” pillow top mattress), two full bathrooms, central air conditioning, premium furnishings and large flat screen tv's. You'll find a residential, washer and dryer, dishwasher, towels and linens, kitchen and laundry supplies. One of the finest properties on the island for up to six people.

Bring the family! Lots of water toys & private back yard for the kids. Boogie boards, snorkel gear, tennis raquiets and ice chest provided.

NOTE: Two things to be aware of when considering your rental;

#1 a number of the Wailea complexes have ocean views but you have a drive + roads to cross to access the beach. Elua Village is literally ocean front.

#2 Patio grilling is popular on vacation but many complexes have shared grilling areas away from your unit (due to HOA rules). Not so at Elua and our condo has a new stainless gas grill, right next to the kitchen on the back lanai.

This well-maintained condo offers two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including an “en suite” bathroom in the master suite. Additional new (April 2018) queen sofa sleeper in living room with premium 8” pillow top mattress. The glass-fronted lanai stretches across the front of the unit, offering a sliding glass door, dining table, lounge chairs, and a nice (partial) view of the ocean. With a fully prepared and renovated kitchen, just bring food and drinks for a perfect paradise experience, or visit any of the nearby spectacular restaurants for a real treat.

Elua Village is one of the most desirable villages in Wailea, an amazing destination with full-time security, gated entryways, a private entrance to the beach, two swimming pools, jogging paths, a fitness center, a party/barbecue pavilion, a paddle/tennis court, and many other amenities.

Perhaps the most important feature of Elua Village is the extensive beach front of the resort. The vast majority of vacation resorts in Maui and Wailea require you either drive and try to find parking or cross busy streets to acces the beaches while “schlepping” all your gear. Elua village is literally on Ulua Beach, for some of the best snorkeling & stand-up paddle boarding on the island. You will also love the convenient beach showers, the ocean front pool, and huge private ocean front lawn with loungers.

Ulua beach is listed in Frommers and Lonely planet as one of the top beaches on the island. (Trip Advisor rates it #16 in the US!) Beautiful sunsets, gentle surf and gorgeous white sand. The beach is book-ended with two small healthy reefs where you’ll see thousands of fish and many turtles.

Golfers? The world renowned Wailea "Blue Course” is directly across the street from Elua Village. Enjoy stunning ocean views from virtually every hole together with vistas of Haleakala and lush, tropical Hawaiian gardens.

The complex is steps away from the Andaz Maui, Wailea Beach Marriott, Grand Wailea, and The Four Seasons Maui Resort, with world class spas to choose from. These resorts offer both casual and upscale dining options, so you can eat in or dine out with equal convenience and quality. The #1 voted Luau on the island is right next door at the Marriott. Why Alisa & Tim chose Wailea

This is a brand new unit for us (thus few reviews), we've been owners in Maui for over 10 years and were looking for a special location in Wailea near all the adventures and beaches we love. This home away from home is perfect, in the back area, beautiful and quiet. The resort has its own private beach, and is on the Wailea beachfront walkway where we love a run or walk in the morning before our daily activities.

What makes this townhome unique

This home Is HUGE relative to most rental condos. Tons of space for families or couples. We are loving planning family vacations, with the quiet and private back lanai for BBQ time or the spacious front lanai for looking out at the ocean. The large living area is perfect for space for everyone!

Wonderful stay on Maui

Perfect location; lots of potential for condo

We had a great time in Wailea Elau Village! The location is perfect - an easy walk to great beaches, pools, high-end resorts, great shopping, restaurants... And the grounds throughout Elau Village are gorgeous, overflowing with tropical plants and flowers. The condo is laid out nicely, with big rooms and a large beautiful lanai. Our group of 2 adults and 2 teen boys had plenty of space to spread out and never felt cramped. However, the condo is old and definitely could benefit from updates (dingy carpet throughout, outdated bathrooms, tired furniture). It was disappointing. But I'm giving 4 stars since it was less expensive than others we looked into, and the location was so perfect. The new owners could do some updating and knock this place out of the park!

Quiet, Beautiful Paradise

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at this lovely large condo. During that time we had several family visitors. The accommodations were roomy and comfortable for all. We loved the large lanai in the front and used the back one in the late afternoon. Outdoor living is where it’s at in Hawaii this condo makes it easy to be outdoors at any time of day. The inside of the place was spacious; both bedrooms are large with a lot of storage throughout. The view from the front lanai was priceless and the property was like walking in a park, well maintained and extremely quiet.

Ulua Beach is a jewel. We snorkeled everyday and saw amazing fish, many turtles, an eagle ray and a manta. Each dive was an adventure. In our past stay in Maui we traveled to a different beach everyday but this time we couldn’t make ourselves go elsewhere as this beach was so perfect.

The condo had everything we needed, washer, dryer, plenty of towels, basic supplies, and the new bbq and boogie boards were much appreciated. The owners responded quickly to our requests and were a pleasure to deal with. Although the condo could use a few upgrades and updates, it is a beautiful property and we would definitely stay there again.

Spectacular property on the best beach in Maui!

This is an amazing property that is located a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to one of the best snorkeling beaches in Maui. We saw plenty of turtles and fish daily. If you walk to the right of the condo you have a gorgeous ocean beach that you can enjoy a daily walk on the beach or sit and watch or swim in the surf. If you walk to the left you have an amazing sidewalk trail that takes you to some of the best hotels, restaurants and beaches in Maui. We would walk to the Grand Wailea and sit in their newly renovated bar to watch the sunset. The condo had all the amenities you could want. The balcony has a great view of the ocean (although there is a road that is below it - but rare that a car goes by) and a great place to enjoy a book. The rear patio is secluded and a great place to enjoy a meal although you can eat on the balcony as well. We especially enjoyed the pool that is located steps away from the ocean and has been updated recently and has a spectacular view. The smaller pool in the center of the property was being renovated and I'm sure will be a great place in the near future. We would definitely come back to this great location.

5 minutes to Wailea Tennis club, 5 minutes to Wailea Blue Golf Club, Complex is surrounded by 4 & 5 star hotels for restaurants and spas. For groceries (including alcohol), the Wailea Safeway is just like your mega-store at home. Prices are similar to the mainland, it’s big, new, has the same line up you’ll get at home but with more fresh fish and fruit than you’re probably used to. Costco’s a great option for laying up on staples; again, virtually the same prices as the mainland.

For convenience items, the shops at Wailea have a general store where you can pick up a sandwich or curry salad. They also offer wine & spirits, even a decent cigar line up.

Dine Like a Local- For a few nights we like to do the 50% off and happy hour(s) dinner specials at some of the top Wailea restaurants. Try Monkey Pod Kitchen or Joes Grill; check out their websites for the specials. Also stop by Pita Madness in Wailea for excellent Mediterranean food, and the breakfast buffet at the Marriott next door to Elua is surprisingly good. In Kihei, you’ll find most all restaurants are priced in line or better than your neighborhood spots at home.

For a truly gourmet experience take a drive upcountry to Haliimaile, one of the finest restaurants on the island but again with 2 for 1 entrees in off-peak periods. http://bevgannonrestaurants.com/haliimaile/. Even better try Gannon’s at Wailea Country Club. Amazing food just a mile or so away.

For meals at home we’ve outfitted our condo with new premium cookware and all the basic spices for your convenience. We have a gas barbeque provided for your use.

Adventure & Activities -

Snorkeling & tennis are pretty much daily activities for us and they’re FREE. Our condo includes quality gear for both and good snorkeling on the small reefs bordering your beach. In addition to zillions of beautiful fish you’ll likely be swimming with turtles in that area. For a few bucks Wailea Tennis Club (world class facility, less than a mile from your condo) offers daily clinics, lessons, ball machines etc along with player pairings from beginners to nationally ranked players.

Bikes & Boards – You’ll pay a few bucks for these but prices are reasonable, equipment good and they’re cheap entertainment. We’ll typically get a weekly rate for the bikes and it’s our main means of transportation; Wailea has wide easy sidewalks and bike lanes. We like to ride east past Wailea and Makena to the Lava Fields, Big Beach and the National Marine Sanctuary for really incredible snorkeling. Try the Surf Shack at the Mana Kai for boards and South Maui Bicycle for rentals. For surfing (beginners and intermediate), take a left out of Elua and drive a couple mikes into Kihei for board rentals and surf lessons at Kamaole II Beach Park.

Wailea Beach Trail runs past Elua, you can stroll or run this ocean front path for miles.

Bigger Adventures – The snorkel and dive boats on this part of the island depart from the Kihei Marina. (Located a mile or so east of Elua. For dive trips we like the gang at Mike Severns. http://www.mikesevernsdiving.com/dive-guides.html . They offer a bit more variety for experienced divers with 2 tank wreck dives, Molokini island dives and more. The reefs and sea life are in excellent condition.

The bike ride down Haleakala Crater is an adventure you’ll remember forever. The tour companies take you to the top of the crater, you get to watch the sunrise, then bike down on your own where you meet up at the bike shop. The gotta-do here is to stop at the Kula Lodge on the way down for breakfast. Park your bikes, warm up by the fire (it’s seriously cold up top), enjoy an incredible country breakfast with their gorgeous dark roast coffee. For horseback riding upcountry we recommend Piholo Ranch. http://www.piiholo.com/horseback.html .

Less Strenuous but amazing – Speaking of Haleakala, seeing the sunrise over the crater is an experience you will be talking about for years. You can drive yourself or take one of the tour buses up. (5 am, rise and shine!) Look for photos and video on our web site. (Seriously, it’s COLD up there. As in freezing. Worth tossing thermals, gloves & hat along into your luggage for this.)

Visit Ioa Needle State Park http://hawaiistateparks.org/parks/maui/index.cfm?park_id=36 for hiking and spectacular views. Its rain forest up there, yet is less than an hour from the condo. For big wave surf (viewing?) head over to the North side of the island. You’ll also pass the Speckles sugar cane museum, give yourself an hour to see a really interesting history of the island
