Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was perfect for someone who needs lots of bedrooms. A lot of nice little touches like plenty of kitchenware, wood fireplace with one chord of wood to start something and great communication with management group. No hot tub which many would expect in a house this size but sauna was pleasant surprise. Would easily stay here again.

Skiing in Colorado

Great place, great host. They were very attentive and wanted to make sure we had a good stay. Close proximity skiing and a beautiful neighborhood. Also nice to have so many rooms with bathrooms in them.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This VRBO is managed by Summit County Mountain Retreats, so the view is not necessarily about the property, but about the lack of actual property management. Aside from booking the property... the manager has one job to do... make sure the property is in good working order. I selected this property, because the listing stated... "five en-suite bathrooms" The reality is... the toliets in the downstairs did not work and guests had to use upstairs bathrooms. Might not have been a big deal for a group of friends or family, but this was a group of business colleagues, so not ideal to have two guest toliets not functioning. Had I known this up-front, I would have never booked this property. I'd be hard pressed to believe Summit County Mountain Retreats did not have this reported to them by the cleaning crew prior to our arrival. This was not a toliet issue, but definitely a drain issue. I did report it and Summit County offered to send over a plumber... I declined. How about just make sure the house is guest ready before you rent the property. Disappointed in Summit County. Hopefully they fix the situation before ski season ramps up.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay. The house was big enough for all to sleep comfortably and was well laid out. The beds we slept in were so comfortable. We LOVED the pillows.Here is a list of things that could be improved:THE HOUSE WAS NOT WELL MAINTAINED: -We had smoke detectors beeping that we had to try to sleep through then buy batteries to replace. - The lighting was poor. We had to replace a lot of light bulbs to be able to see. -The oven didn’t shut all the way and needed repair -The sliding door to the back patio did not slide and was a pain to use -a shower downstairs was missing a shower door which made for a mess in showering -the back patio rails were falling apart, needed paint and had bees flying in and out of them.Although the BACK PATIO was relaxing, the mismatched, randomly placed, and filthy furniture was not inviting.THE KITCHEN WAS SO FRUSTRATING: -We spent half the vacation trying to clean our stuck food off the pans which we never figured out how to use properly -There was no plastic wrap, foil or plastic containers for left overs. This is usually provided. We donated these items to the house that we had to buy -We found a lot of dirty dishes and utensils. We had to wash almost everything before use. One knife I pulled out was greasy and nasty like someone used it and stuck it back in the block unwashed.FOOD chunks and crumbs were found in bedrooms as well as kitchen cabinets.RUGS were bunched up/not lying flat in 2 rooms making tripping hazardsThese are the things that we made note of. It’s only for you to make improvements. They certainly did not ruin our vacation. But, I’m not sure we would stay there again.

Property Management Could have been better

The house itself was nice, however the property management maintenance of the house was not good. The stove was not operating, so they had a huge counter top unit that they installed, which didn’t work very well. The carbon monoxide alarm was going off, which affected the alarm system. The refrigerator didn’t work, so they brought in 2 very small refrigerators, which neither worked very well. We were not able to make ice the entire weekend. The dishwasher didn’t work, it melted a piece inside and smelled terrible. We had techs in multiple times, which was disruptive. They had not cleaned up the deck or patio furniture and lots of trash around the outside of the house. We asked for compensation, which was not compensatory to the amount of inconvenience and it took over 30 days to receive. Their customer service in resolving the matter was more in line with “take it or leave it”. We were not impressed considering what we paid for the house.

Easy going stay

The house was nice and accommodating for our family gathering. The best feature was the bathrooms in each room. Management company was very helpful and quick to communicate. The house was very clean in all of the important spaces (kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms). However, the house needs a deep clean inside and outside as well. The first day a few family members walked around without socks on, and their feet turned completely black from the tile floor. And the carpet needs a deep clean. The exterior yard and back yard have a lot of small debris, that look like it’s been there under snow piles. But there were also bigger pieces of trash in the river bed and around the house.this made it uncomfortable when we wanted to walk around with the kids. Ultimately we had an easy going stay with family in the mountains. That’s what we hoped for.

Birthday family celebration

The large table allowed us to play many group games and share wonderful meals together. The weather was pretty cold, but we were able to go sledding and use our snowshoes for short hikes in the area. The house in located in a beautiful forest, with lots of windows to enjoy the scenery. The property was well supplied, and clean. During our first morning, we discovered that the toaster did not work, but I texted the Summit County Mountain Retreats company, and a new one was delivered to the house in a few hours. It was especially wonderful that each bedroom had their own bathroom! We were able to park 1 car in the garage, and 3 cars side by side in the driveway. The large mud room allowed us to keep boots, coats, and gear for 11 people located in one place, out of the way from the rest of the house.

Christmas Getaway

We had been wanting to make a trip up to the mountains for a Christmas trip with friends for years. We finally did this year and this property was absolutely perfect. Was exactly what we envisioned. Plenty of room for 10 of us. Loved that we were able to all sit around the table and play games with the fire in the background as we looked out on the snow falling. Will definitely be back to this property next year!

Wedding Weekend

Had 10 people in the house for a wedding at Keystone Ranch. Property is nice, but cold water wasn't available in a bedroom sink upstairs (part ordered per repair person) and the heat registers make a noise @ every 10 seconds in upstairs bedrooms that make sleep difficult.

Our stay here was amazing! The home was absolutely beautiful and surprisingly quiet in early June. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed, the humidifiers were a hot item for our group. Check in and check out we’re simple and basic which made arriving and departing a non hassle. We would love to visit again in the future!

Guys retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very accommodating for seven guys. It would not work for more people unless you doubled up in the large beds. The thermostat is set and does not warm the house to a comfortable temperature(sleep in your snow gear in the basement). The toilet paper is like prison paper (bring your own). Temperature and toilet paper are my only complaints, outside of that the home was very accommodating for the quantity of seven guys.

Christmas Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the house for Christmas with family. The house was in pretty good condition and the mud room was very nice for storing ski gear. We have rented before in Keystone and have never had a problem getting around. The location of the house could have been described better. There was no mention of neighborhood being in the mountain instead of along the base. The roads and driveway were not maintained. The driveway has a steep downward slope and had about 4 inches of ice on it. Another issue was the heating i the house. It all floor radiators and several were not working and the only fireplace in the house was not working. It had a note from October saying it was broken and would be fixed soon. No one notified us about the fireplace. If they had we would have changed houses.

Beautiful High Quality home

We love this home! It was beautiful, high-quality finishes, and very comfortable! Great beds! Everything worked well. All the guys loved the sauna! The only disappointment was that the fireplace still does not work. According to reviews they have been “ working on it.” For more than a couple months now. I would think that would be a priority. A fire would’ve just made it. Absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

60th wedding anniversary

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 10 family members get together to celebrate our anniversary ( unfortunately tow came down with the flu and couldn't make it)
