Amazing home. The peaceful feeling you get while in the cottage is amazing. So much thought into decorating! My ONLY complaint is the beds, they are small and in need of a mattress upgrade. We loved having our own private beach, a short drive from the cottage. The island was exciting to explore and the weather was perfect. The outdoor shower was great to have coming from the beach. Highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return

Firstly, Karla, the property manager, was absolutely terrific. From the minute I unlocked the door and stepped inside this dreamy cottage, I felt like I could live the rest of my life there. Daufuskie Island itself is magical and after exploring each day I would come "home", cook dinner in the fabulous kitchen, then relax with a book on the hanging bed on the screen porch. My stay was perfect in every way. I hesitated giving such a glowing review because I hope the cottage will be available for me next year for another blissful week of solitude and quiet. 5 stars all around.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The home is lovely and clean. Property manager is responsive and great to work with. This was our second stay and hope to return again someday!

First trip to Daufuskie

Everything about the house was great for our 4-night stay. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of Daufuskie and plan to return to explore more of the island. Karla was a big help in lining up the ferry, cart rental and knowing how to get around to a couple of restaurants. Being so close to the beach was a huge plus. I highly recommend this house to others!

For our first trip to the island this place was perfect! House was well kept, beautifully decorated and close to beach. Definitely rent a golf cart to get around. House is secluded. Was a joy to stay there and we will definitely be back.
