Ti innamorerai di questa gemma nascosta su 7 acri privati e immerso in una valle adiacente a 50.000 acri di area di gestione della fauna selvatica DNR. Ottimo rifugio di caccia o fine settimana per chi cerca un ambiente tranquillo e rilassante. Fauna selvatica in abbondanza (orso nero, caro, tacchino), trekking, kayak, Foothills Trail, Palmetto Trail, Sassafras Mountain, Victoria Valley Vineyards, cascate e molto altro! Abbiamo rifornito la nostra casa di giochi, film, libri e speriamo che il tuo soggiorno sia piacevole!
Lo spazio
Questa è una seconda casa per noi e cerchiamo di tenerlo rifornito di elementi essenziali per noi stessi e i nostri ospiti. Viviamo in una piccola fattoria nella contea di Pickens nelle vicinanze e cerchiamo di farti rifornire di graffette che sono belle da avere quando i negozi di alimentari non sono così vicini. Tuttavia, la stazione di drogheria / benzina di Holly Springs è proprio in fondo alla montagna. Sentiti libero di usare ciò di cui hai bisogno. Abbiamo anche amache da trekking, spray spray, luci flash, dvd, libri, giocattoli per bambini e un kit di pronto soccorso per il tuo uso. Nota: la nostra cabina è letteralmente nel mezzo del deserto e non c'è la ricezione di internet o cellulare. Abbiamo un telefono di casa sul posto per le emergenze o se è necessario mettersi in contatto con noi o altri ospiti.

Avrai accesso completo ai 7 acri della nostra proprietà e ai 50.000 acri dell'area di gestione della fauna selvatica DNR e percorsi. Alcune colline sono un po 'ripide quando si sale, quindi si prega di fare attenzione. Inoltre, raccomandiamo di trasportare spray per orsi, bussola ed essere preparati il più possibile. Cabin has everything you could want for a wonderful stay in a secluded, beautiful area surrounded by forests. We especially enjoyed the fire pit with seating for several folks. Lots of places to explore and enjoy! Highly recommend.

One of the best cabins we've stayed in. It was clean, well stocked in case someone forgot something, the beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the hikes that were near by and sitting around the fire! Only problem we have is...it's 14 hours away!

This was the perfect cozy cabin for our getaway trip!! The kitchen was stocked with dishes,pots.etc. The house was clean and location was so quiet and peaceful. We also very much enjoyed the firewood provided as well.

Beautiful property and cabin. Perfect for our getaway trip to the mountains. Cabin was clean and stocked with items we needed and more. Lots of waterfalls nearby to explore. Wish we stayed longer.

Great get away

We enjoyed 3 nights here on our "Baby Moon" with our 4 year old before welcoming a new baby. My son had a blast playing in the creek.

Relaxing Time

Although we didn’t have ideal weather, this cabin more than made up for it. It’s cozy and the owner makes sure it is equipped with anything you may need during your stay. This cabin is also close to plenty of fishing and hiking trails. We plan on coming back soon!

Great place

We loved our stay. Perfect location! Away from it all but not too far from anything. House was beautiful and accommodating. Had everything we needed and any even staple food and supplies if we forgot anything. Only messaged the owners once before checking in but they were very responsive when we did. The only thing I would note is the strong moldy smell in the sun room but it wasn't a necessary room so we just stayed out and kept the door closed. Kids loved the toys that were there. Plenty of games and movies as well but we spent so much time out and about that we didn't need it. Would definitely stay agaim and recommend to others!

Enjoyable

The cabin was clean and well set up. The environment was very nice, refreshing and relaxing. My only issues were with the door to the house and a little difficulty with the key box at the gate. But, otherwise everything was great!

Relaxing & Serene

We go on vacation to get away from it all. This is a great spot. The drive up the mountain is nice and when you arrive you are surrounded by woods. Loved the firepit which had plenty of wood avail. Good firm bed (may want to bring an extra blanket in colder months), nice hot shower and decent pressure. Kitchen and bath well stocked. Home has a real cozy feeling.

Great retreat and base to several hikes

Property was a great spot for several hikes at different waterfalls and state and national parks. We enjoyed building a fire every night and roasting marshmallows. Very remote, exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend it and rent it again for future trips.

Perfect Getaway

I rented this property for my mom and her boyfriend for their anniversary and they absolutely loved it. They loved getting to unplug and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds the property. It was also easy to get to unlike some other cabins. I would definitely rent this property for them again.

A peaceful retreat, still able to work

The property is amazing. It is peaceful to the point of healing. I needed a staycation after a month of illness and a few crazy weeks at work. A true gem and just what the doctor ordered. Extraordinary value and some of the best money I've spent in a very long time. Brent has been awesome, also. Communicating promptly and taking care of a few small issues along the way. Met him today as he was up here doing maintenance. He is a great guy and the model VRBO host. A primary concern for me was still being able to work a few hours a week while I was here. The Starlink internet works well enough to stream, browse, and text. The infrastructure in this area isn't yet mature enough to support Zoom / Teams / Skype etc. If you visit and need to do a video call, I highly recommend the new Starbucks in Pickens. Otherwise, I was surprised to find decent connectivity even during storms. The area is some of the prettiest in the world. Sassafras Mountain, Jumping Off Rock, Whitewater Falls, are all in easy driving distance. Surrounding towns like Brevard, Greenville, Cashiers, and Highlands are absolutely worth a visit. You won't run out of things to do, you will run out of time to do it in! 5 star experience; start to finish.

We purchased this home in 2017 with the intent to have a getaway where we can go with our family and unplug. There is no internet or cell reception. We spend our time exploring the mountains, watching movies or playing games, reading, going for walks, sightseeing all numerous waterfalls in the area, and beaching it at the nearby Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. Most recently we have started playing golf with our 6 and 8 year old down the mountain just 5 minutes at The Rock Golf Resort and Restaurant.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

This property is unique to us because you can be so secluded and unplugged from the world, but within a 15 minute drive you can find yourself at a winery (Victoria Valley Vineyard) a brewery/brewpub (Jocassee Valley Brewing/ Appalachian Ale House) or in Historical Downtown Pickens for dinner at the GateHouse, a bike ride on the 13 Mile Doodle Trail or Mountain Biking on the Town Creek Bike Park OR go antique shopping on their main st. Within a 30 minute drive you can find yourself in Brevard, NC for a fun day of shopping or tasting the local restaraunts in this adorable mountain town. We specifically love the old Soda/Ice Cream Shop and the Irish Pub. Table Rock and Caesars Head State Park are also literally a few miles away down scenic hwy 11 from the Cabin and provide a day full of adventure.

Sit on the porch and listen to the babbling waterfalls on the property. Lots of wildlife to spot during your stay while relaxing on the sun porch. Black bears, turkey, dear, and so many birds! On cold evenings we love building a fire in wood stove or sitting out back with the fire pit and smores.
