Overview

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

Our luxury and secluded waterfall cabin is nestled just 25 feet from a beautiful waterfall with a private stream coming within 10 feet of the master bedroom. Our secluded cabin is located in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains just 12 miles from Brevard and 1/2 mile off a paved road. A true mountain cabin retreat surrounded by pristine forest and bordered on two sides by 8000 acre private preserve. Just a stones throw away is a roomy front porch where solitude and relaxation begins while settling down in a rocker or listening to the calming waterfall or the rain hitting the tin roof.

The luxury Cabin's interior has a beamed ceiling, stone fireplace, wide plank pine floors with carefully selected antiques and furnishings that capture the character of the region and provide the utmost in comfort. The Blue Ridge Mountain elevation approaching 3000 feet allows for cool mountain breezes and a rare need for air conditioning.

Nature is everywhere. Nearly 45% of Transylvania County is covered by National and State Forests. Six Forests, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Nantahala National Forest, Caesars Head State Park, and Gorges State Park, are located within a 27 mile radius of our Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin. With over 250 waterfalls to visit, Transylvania County is known as the 'Land of the Waterfalls'. Craig Miller's 'Land of Waterfall Tours' a must do while visiting the area

Quiet, beautiful, clean

  • 4 of 5

A little scary coming up the long driveway (careful with a lower car especially with a hitch bike rack!) but worth the reward as you pull up to the cabin. It's as beautiful as the pictures. Only things I'd recommend are replacing the towels (they're old, scratchy and stringy) and linens (getting pills on the fabric) and the cookware. WiFi worked great so we could text, email and wifi call with that feature on our phones. The cabin is decently stocked with condiments (salt pepper spices cooking oil etc) and paper products. It's silent and truly breathtaking. Only 20 min from DuPont and 30 from Pisgah. Perfect for mountain biking all day and recovering in your personal ice bath in the cold mountain stream! Will be back.

This beautifully decorated cabin nestled in the woods is PERFECT.. There is so much to do, yet there is nothing you will need but groceries. Very very clean as well as the nature that surrounds the creek and cabin. Truly a wonderful stay and will return again for sure!!!

Magical

This was our second stay at the waterfall cabin. It is truly magical. We love this spot and have enjoyed it in two different seasons. We plan to be back in the spring!

Private and interesting

  • 5 of 5

At the end of a long road so there is a nice walk along the road. It is secluded but close to the highways and dinner in Brevard. Also close to some nice walks to waterfalls.

Easy to cook and do laundry. It could use a little more light in the kitchen area.
