Located in Brooklyn Arts District, a neighborhood in Wilmington, this apartment is near a water park. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach, while Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College and Wilmington Railroad Museum are cultural highlights. Brooklyn Arts Center at St. Andrews and Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts are also worth visiting. Jet skiing, kayaking, and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
The most adorable house! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless. The downstairs living room and kitchen area were just right for my husband and our three kids. It made for a wonderful weekend Downtown Wilmington.
Property just as described - great location & easy walk to several restaurants, breweries. Weather was very rainy so we ended up driving some places we would otherwise walk but were glad to have the spacious house to spread out. Nicely refurbed older house. Would definitely recommend!
Within 20 minutes walk to Live Oak Pavilion. 20 Minute drive to Wrightsville beach. Would not recommend females walking at night alone in neighborhood. Great stay for what we needed. Would stay again if needed.

Nice house but very unsafe and dirty
We were excited to come to our daughter's graduation at UNCW and stay at the house. While the house served our needs well, and the great room and porch were fantastic, there were many problems, including safety issues. First, cleanliness. There were dirty dishes and glasses with lipstick stains in the cupboard. There were hairs on several of the towels as if they had not been washed. There were toothpaste stains on the walls, and more. It seemed as if the house had been hastily cleaned at best before we arrived. The hosts asked that we wash dishes and beach towels before we left, but there was no dishwasher or clothes detergent. Saftey: This is the big one. There was a back board loose on the steps from the street into the house. One of our party was almost injured because of this. The toilet in the upstairs bathroom is not bolted down. This causes the toilet to slide and has caused sewage water to leak onto the downstairs ceiling. There are large water spots on the ceiling and the sheetrock tape is ripping. This let us know this problem had been going on for quite some time. We were slightly afraid the ceiling might cave in while we were there. The shower door handle was very loose, the bathroom door was off its wheels...we could go on and on. It seems that the owners are either totally unaware of what is going on in their house or just don't care. We stay in short term rentals over 100 days a year and this is the dirtiest and most unsafe one we have ever seen.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Really liked the character of the house. It was an early 20th century refurb that was both eclectic but updated with modern amenities; but was decorated with antiques. It was within walking distance to the downtown waterfront and close to everything. We enjoyed the stay and will almost certainly come back sometime in the future. The only negative was no on-site parking. We parked in front of the house on the street.
We had a wonderful stay in Wilmington and couldn’t recommend this home enough. The check in directions were easy as was communication with the owner. The home is lovely! Fresh and clean and everything we needed. It is blocks from some great restaurants and shopping so we didn’t need our cars the whole weekend. We even walked to the Live Oak amphitheater for a show with ease.
We lucked into a fantastic bakery just around the corner, Brooklyn Cafe and had breakfast there both mornings. All homemade items and great coffee.
I would absolutely stay here again.
This was the perfect spot for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Such a cute space and within walking distance from the Brooklyn Arts Center! I would definitely stay here again.
