Lovely quiet house overlooking Core Sound and the Banks. Lots of bird life to enjoy. Bring a pair of binoculars to see the dunes across the sound better. Close to Cedar Island beach for walks, floating, and a chance to see the feral cows and wild horses. The Davis ferry over to Core Banks is nearby and Harkers Island is about 20 min away. The house is clean, well furnished and has a washer and dryer as well. Kim and Sam were very responsive to assorted questions that we had. We will be back next year!

Great house in Stacy!!! Our boys enjoyed clamming and catching bait from the dock in the backyard. Boat ramp is super convenient to the house and we spent much of our time exploring the sound and Cape Lookout. Kim was a great host and very responsive. Check in/out was super easy. Everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. Will definitely rent from Kim again.

Great house with wonderful view of the sound, marsh, and birds. The back porch is terrific. Cedar Island, Harkers Island, and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse are close by. We've been coming for several years and always look forward to getting away Down East

Another Great Stay

This is the third year we have stayed in this property and we have it booked for next year. It is clean and well stocked with everything we need. The full moon over the sound is incredible.

Great Place

The property was as described, clean, and well provisioned. The view from the porch is spectacular. I took a group of employees down for a fishing trip and this was the perfect base for a great week of fishing. We had a blast and plan to go back next year.

This home was just what we needed to come back to after a long day of duck hunting in Cedar Island. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and it has plenty of room. The property manager was excellent to work with as well. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in the Cedar Island area.

Great view

The property isn’t near all the tourist trap areas, which is what I prefer. It’s a short drive to a beach, maybe 45 minutes to Morehead city. The view off from the deck is definitely worth the drive.

Highlights of this property: Great back porch overlooking the marsh and waterway. Comfy beds. Great layout. easy check in and check out process. So quiet and restful. Great bird watching. Be prepared to drive 30 minutes to restaurants.

Weekend Getaway

We wanted someplace to go where we could rest and relax. This was perfect. We brought all our food because we didn't want to go out at all. The kitchen could use a few more items like baking dishes, tops that fit the pots, etc. Towel racks in the bathrooms would be a great addition as well. There were a few dust bunnies around, but overall it was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
