Our full log house offers the epitome of rustic charm, secluded living, and the modern amenities you’re accustomed to. With Cable TV and Wi-Fi throughout, we’ve let no convenience go unaddressed. Enjoy meals without compromise in our fully functional kitchen equipped with stainless-steel appliances and stocked with plates, utensils, and lots of windows throughout for enjoying views and natural sunlight.

Whether you’re planning an outdoor excursion, looking for the perfect setting for an intimate wedding, a vacation for the kids, or just a memorable get together with friends and family, this secluded waterfront ski cabin provides everything that you’re looking for and more!

Enjoy the beauty that these 5 acres have to offer as you relax to the soothing sounds of nature and running water from the nearby freshwater stream. Bask in the warmth of the heated outdoor deck, while overlooking the freshwater pond or while catching a glimpse of the Windam Mountain Ski Resort. Guests can easily transition from indoor to outdoor entertainment with the wraparound deck which connects to the main deck, fully equipped with a gas grill, smoker, and lots of comfortable seating for guests.

With ample amounts of open space for fun & entertainment, guests can even enjoy the warmth of a bonfire or roast marshmallows in the fireplace right next to the ¼ acre pond stocked with bass for catch & release fishing.

Pamper yourself & unwind in the sauna that seats six or have fun with a game of foosball. Keep family & friends entertained with an array of board-games or spend quality time laughing, conversing, or enjoying your favorite beverage around the wood-burning fireplace. The house is surrounded by wilderness and that means water supply is from the ground water, which can emit a smell, if you are uncomfortable with this we recommend bringing bottle water for drinking and cooking. In addition we use septic system to manage the waste, please use the water and waste system responsibly to avoid clogging the system.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful home

We stayed in this lovely home for a Thanksgiving trip with 10 of us. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was great to have such a full kitchen for cooking our Thanksgiving feast. The house is stunning, nicer than the photos, and in a beautiful setting. The hosts replied immediately to our queries. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Great Guys Getaway!

Our group of 7 were very comfortable, it was an excellent time! The cabin in Windham is tucked away at the end of the road for a nice private and peaceful time! The place was better than pics showed, we were all excited to stay here. Nice front & back porches, when it rained it gave us all a nice spacious place to hang out together and enjoy the outdoors. We enjoys a fire in the firepit whenever possible. Asmita & Nitu were friendly & prompt to respond if needed. Just an overall enjoyable time here, we'd like to make it back here again!

Great vacation!

We just came back from the trip to Hunter/Windham and we had a great vacation at Nitu & Asmita's place. It's very clean and just right space for 6 adults and 4 kids. The dining table was also long enough for all of us to sit all together. After the long day at ski slope, the sauna helped us a lot too! Nitu & Asmita responded quickly every time I contacted them!

Winter wonderland

I stayed here with a group of friends in late January and it was great. The pictures honestly don’t do the place justice. It’s a beautiful property. Also, there was a small issue with one of the appliances that the owners went out of there way to address.

Wonderful weekend away

We had a lovely weekend. Nita and Asmita were very attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. It is a lovely cabin - spacious and simultaneously cosy. If you’re a group of more than 11, people will have to sleep in common areas - there are three rooms - one with two single beds, one with a double bed and a room with five bunk beds. There is also a loft room with just a curtain). It was fine for our party of 15 friends but something to keep in mind. We had a great stay and hope to return soon!

Perfect getaway

Us and two other families spent Memorial Day weekend at this property and the entire stay was wonderful. The location is perfect, close enough to town so we could do quick supplies runs when needed but secluded so we felt we were the only ones around. The kids had a blast playing in and around the pond. The house was clean and well appointed with all amenities one would need. This is our fourth time around in the Windham area and this property was the best we've seen so far. We would definitely like to return next year.

Enjoyable weekend retreat!

Rented the house for our yearly guys family weekend. It was located just about equadistant from everyone in our group making it a perfect location. Eleven of us fit comfortably in the house. The house had everything we needed - grill, fire pit, room to play wiffle ball, and a pond and stream. There was a field alongside the property where we played wiffle ball and football. The fire pit was our main gathering place in the afternoon and evening. The neighbors were far enough that allowed us to feel comfortable talking without having to be concerned about bothering them. The pond had fish I. It but we were not lucky enough to catch anything but one of the guys caught a trout in the stream. The house was clean and met our needs. Suggestion to other potential renters would be to bring your own wood - not supplied by the owner. We didnt use the sauna so I cant comment on it. It was conveniently close to town to make it a five minute drive if you needed to get something you may have forgotten. We will be back.

A perfect getaway !

My family thoroughly enjoyed the house! It was everything you would expect for a Ski weekend getaway. The house was cozy and quaint complete with a wood burning stove and a sauna for after a full day of hitting the slopes. The beds were really comfortable and we loved the location. There is a running stream on the perimeter of the property. The house is literally 5 minutes from the slopes! The town had some great restaurants as well. The owners were terrific. They made sure to call and check in to be sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return. Can’t wait to visit in the Fall when the leaves change.
