Sea Colony West - 2BR, 2BA - 1 Block to Tennis Center, 1/2 Mile to Beach

This cozy coastal cottage is perfect for your convenient family vacation or couples beach getaway. This single-floor property (no unit above) is in a quieter area within Sea Colony West and only a 1/2 mile from the private beach. One block away is one of the twelve community pools, Sea Colony Tennis and Pickleball Center, and Sea Colony Tram station to take guests to the beach and other amenities. Two blocks away is the West Lake Activity Center (charcoal grilling stations, picnic tables, playground, putting green, basketball court, cornhole, pickleball courts, shuffle board). Half mile away is the Freeman Fitness Center (indoor pool, gym, indoor basketball court) and outdoor kids splash pad. We offer weekly Saturday-to-Saturday rentals during the beach season and mini-weeks (3-night minimum) before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

Check-in/check-out process: Contactless check-in/check-out process through keypad lock entry. At least one person will need to go to the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe to purchase guest badges for stay. The property will be professionally cleaned after your stay.

The property is a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom, 900 square feet duplex that sleeps up to six people. Fantastic private deck attached to the living room gets lots of sun throughout the morning and afternoon. Full kitchen (range, oven, microwave, utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot, Keurig, glass and plastic drinkware, dishwasher) central air conditioning, and washer/dryer. There is no grill at the property but there are resort charcoal grilling stations located two blocks away at the West Lake Activity Center.

2nd bedroom: Two sets of twin bunk beds (4 beds total). Top bunks rated for 150 lbs.
Living area: Sleeper sofa with queen mattress

What's included in the price?
Sea Colony Guest Badges must be purchased when you arrive at Sea Colony for all guests ages 4 and older. The guest badges give you access to the condo and Sea Colony community, half mile private beach, tram, fitness centers, and tennis center. Visit www.seacolony.com/rentals for more information about guest badge fees. The badges are purchased at the Sea Colony Beach Shoppe located at the Market Place shopping center when you arrive at the entrance to Sea Colony West. You can rent linen and towels through our cleaning provider for an additional fee. During booking you can choose between a VRBO property damage protection policy or a refundable damage deposit equivalent to the policy coverage.

No smoking or parties and sorry, no guest pets allowed at the Sea Colony Resort.

Bethany Beach visit

My son played in a national tennis tournament at Sea Colony so we have stayed at this unit the last 2 years. 2 minute walk to courts. Great location. Lovely quiet condo nestled in the woods

Quiet and convenient

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. We stayed the week before Labor Day as the season was winding down. The location was quiet and away from the crowds, but still convenient to everything in Sea Colony. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for the week- including beach chairs because we forgot to pack ours, and indoor games to keep our kids occupied. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Awesome condo near the beach

This place was fantastic. The beach is close by - walkable, but there is also a shuttle that goes right there. There is also a pool practically next door, and tennis courts. The condo itself was perfect for our family. We didn't cook but there was a full kitchen available. The living area has plenty of space to hang out, there was a spacious patio with comfortable furniture, and the wifi worked great.

Great summer getaway!

We had a great stay here - we loved how quiet it was, but yet close to so much! Jon and Ashton could not have been more communicative and responsive, and their guest binder had all the information we needed to plan our stay. Everything We Were Looking for!

Family of four found everything about this property to be perfect for us. The hosts communicated with us regularly, the size of the unit was just right, and we took advantage of as many Sea Colony amenities as we could. I recommend bringing your bikes (or rent some), it was the easiest way to get around both Sea Colony and the center of Bethany/boardwalk. Our car remained parked for almost the entire week. We would without a doubt like to stay here again.

Sea Colony Vacation

Our home away from home was the perfect fit. It was close to the ocean, restaurants, and amenities. It was more convenient to take the tram to the beach and boardwalk. So, having the tram stop so close was an additional plus. The townhouse itself was charming, comfortable, and close to the pool. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed for cooking and serving meals. Grocery stores were a short drive. I would stay again.

Perfect Rainy Week at the Beach

I cannot say enough good things about this property or its owners. The entire process was seamless and easy. The property is in a perfect location (steps from one of the pools) and it was a good size for just me -- not too big and not too small. Although it rained the entire week I was there, I so enjoyed my stay that I am looking forward to returning and renting this property again.

Beautiful location

We came to Bethany beach for a family wedding. This place we rented for the weekend was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed I even forgot my hairdryer and they had one there. I loved the location it felt very private. If I go back to Bethany I would definitely check to see if this condo is available.

We absolutely love the beach and nature. When we rediscovered Sea Colony and Bethany Beach, we knew it was the perfect mix for us - great resort, fantastic beach, family-oriented, quieter, lots of activities, and affordable. We love sharing these adventures with our family.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in Winter 2018. This property stood out to us right away because of it's location. It's in a more private area within Sea Colony West, near the tennis and pickleball center, very close to a pool and tram stop, and halfway in between the beach and fitness center. The property itself is very cozy - hardwood floors in living area, upgraded Trex deck, clean, and well maintained.

What makes this property unique

We've loved our stays at Sea Colony and the nearby restaurants and activities. Just a simple walk in the neighborhood - regardless of the time of year - is a real joy. There's always something to do and a new adventure around every corner. We hope you enjoy our coastal cottage, Sea Colony, and all that Bethany Beach has to offer as much as we do.
