Place cleaned spotlessly this Spring from the windows to the wall updated: Washer and dryer, blinds, maple kitchen counters, kitchen tile floor, carpet

Enjoy spectacular oceanfront views in this lovely condo outfitted with gorgeous mahogany hardwood floors, marble tile bathrooms, and cozy living quarters. The unit comfortably sleeps four guests with a queen size bed in the private bedroom and pullout sofa in the living room. Located on the sixth floor of the Brandywine House, the beach is just a short trip out the promenade to the boardwalk. Assigned parking for the unit is just under the building conveniently located nearby the lobby and elevator.

Also available in the beach locker are beach chairs and boards and toys for the kids.

******Linen and towel service are available upon request for a $100 fee. Linens and towels are otherwise not provided.

******Please note Sea Colony is a private, secured resort community. Guests must purchase badges at the Sea Colony Recreation office in order to access the premises. The badges provide access to the host of Sea Colony amenities including pools, tennis, modern fitness center, and more.

Great cozy retreat for the family

A clean and cozy condo with ocean views from the balcony. Just takes a cpl minutes to get to the beach, which is pristine. Also there are heated pools, pickleball courts, and other amenities. Also walking distance to some restaurants, and about a 15 minute walk to the main boardwalk. Definitely would stay again. We have a 1.5yr old daughter and it was the perfect beach vacation for her.

Property was as advertised. Location is great because my husband has mobility issues and the parking is steps from elevator and elevator is steps from unit. Great view. Very quiet. Could not hear anyone in any adjacent units. If you are bringing your own linens include a mattress pad, blanket, and kitchen towels too.

Highly reccomend! Beautiful views. The shower could use updating, but it does it's job. Matt was very responsive! The futon takes a bit to open, but it will open. AC is fabulous! Lots of beach stuff in the locker in the parking garage. Parking spot is super close to the elevator. Nice fridge & washer/dryer. Lots to do at Sea Colony and lots around the area! Can't wait to return!

Can’t beat the location

Wonderful view! Sea Colony is the best location for a beach vacation. The pools were great, safe beaches, and amazing staff. Host was easily contacted. We had an issue with the air conditioning, and it was fixed within hours.

Communication was excellent. Property is conveniently located on the 6th floor. great view of the ocean with steps away from the beach. The beach is private which does help control the crowd. Elevator was very close and parking conveniently close as well. A clock in the unit would be nice. We felt some things could be updated as it is a little dated. Guest passes are needed at $55 per person. Yes, we would stay here again.

Love Sea Colony

We had stayed at Sea Colony before, but not in the last 18 years. It’s still a great property! Better suited to families than couples. This unit is clean and well located with an amazing view. And the beach chairs, umbrellas etc that were included meant we didn’t have to pack them or pay a fortune for them in the beach! The host was very nice and helpful. Check in is a little confusing. More specific directions and procedures should be included in the materials.

Great location and easy communication

The property was as advertised and even brighter than I imagined from the pictures. With a few small changes it could be great. The location was awesome, perfect placement in the condo buildings, and appreciated the parking and locker near parking. Updates to make it great: have hand soap at each sink, have trash cans in each bathroom, have towels for kitchen, have trash bags for kitchen, bolt in the dishwasher, have pods for the dishwasher, and purchase new chairs and boogie boards for the locker (some equipment was broken). Overall, we loved our week here and tried to make the most of all the activities offered with the amenities pass. Thank you for the great communication and easy check in process!

Nice condo in a great location

Overall the condo is nice. It could probably use a deep cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom, but in general it was clean. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The bed was also comfortable. The apartment is nice and bright, and has a beautiful balcony and direct view of the ocean. There was a minor issue checking in, but the owner was very responsive, and even gave me a little refund for the trouble. Mostly the apartment is just a crash pad however, you're there for the beach. The beach is right outside the building and it's a lovely beach. The complex also has a number of heated pools, and decks to sit on. Within a five minute walk are a number of restaurants and mini-golf, and the Bethany Beach boardwalk is less than half a mile away- you can walk there down the beach.

Great condo at kid friendly resort! Beautiful views and perfect location! Most amenities provided, however a few things to take along... if you have kids and they take baths, take a bath plug... the one in the bath is broken. If you want to hang any of your clothes up, take some hangers. No ice trays, so buy bagged ice for drinks. Condo was mostly clean, but could use some attention under beds, behind couch, etc. Sofa bed is broken and completely unusable... if you have more than 2 adults, take an air mattress! Overall we loved our stay at this condo, but a few updates and it would have been 5 star!

The style of this property "Stylish Condo" was Early Run Down and I Don't Care". There was not a single part of the unit that didn't need to be updated. It is clear the owner is simply renting as many times as possible to make the most and spending the least. Toilet doesn't flush properly, shower broken and moldy, a barn floor w hay and straw would have been better than the bed. Appliances were dirty and greasy especially the coffee machine. We left 1.5 days early because we wouldn't stay another night. Building is 50 years old and it looks like the unit hasn't been upgraded, repaired or in some spots cleaned the whole time. Extremely disappointed. The Marriott would have been a far superior alternative for the same price.

Be aware

Pros: The unit is conveniently located; there’s a great view. The owner responds quickly to texts. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped. We were offered a partial refund for a broken AC (3 days to replace a motor). Cons: The condo badly needs repair, a thorough cleaning/dusting and updating throughout. Overall the unit had an unwelcoming ambience and a sense of minimal upkeep for maximal profit. None of the other condos we saw this or last year were anything like this unit in cleanliness and upkeep. I’m surprised about the positive reviews and wonder about their origin. If you (like I was) are making a reservation late in the season be aware of there are lots of issues with cleanliness and upkeep: worn furniture, flimsy roller shades, uncomfortable bed with makeshift foam on top, dusty, bathroom that's old and worn with scratched porcelain, unclean tile grout and a partially working shower door, in addition to the AC a shade broke and the screen door dislodged.

Our stay was just what we were looking for. Beautiful view of the ocean the sound of the waves and a relaxing experience. We know about some of the shortcomings of the unit but that didn't impact our stay at all. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Luxury condo review

The location of this condo is absolutely perfect. The assigned parking spot is basically right next to the entryway of the building- making loading and unloading extremely convenient and easy. Your ocean view from the balcony is spectacular! The condo is right off the elevator so again, very convenient! A few minor issues- the blinds didn’t work for the sliding doors. Most times you want them open to enjoy the view however it would be nice for privacy to have the option to pull them closer but they were broken. There was no toaster- again this is very minor but nice option for breakfast in the mornings. There is a washer/dryer combo in the kitchen. I decided to wash some towels halfway through our stay and discovered the dryer didn’t work. Sea colony doesn’t allow anything to be hung off the balconies so I was left with a load of wet towels to dry throughout the condo. Overall it’s a clean condo with normal wear and tear- a little maintenance needed. We still had an amazing time and the condo serves its purpose!

Unacceptable Condo Condition

My family has stayed in Sea Colony condos for multiple years and have always enjoyed the property and area. Unfortunately this experience was different... The location and larger facilities were great, but the condo was in unacceptable condition. Issues: Main door lock was inoperable (safety concern), the dryer was broken, the window blinds were broken (missing shades and pull string), the bedroom windows fell off the wall (I reinstalled), the closet door was broken and unsightly, and the overhead light was handing by a wire, The owner did not make any of these issue clear in the posting; when I brought it all to his attention, he informed me that he was aware of it all and that he was planning to fix in the off-season, which of course does not help my family's experience. We enjoyed our stay, but the property was certainly a disappointment and distraction to our experience.
