About this property
Charming Lakefront Cottage; Boat, Swim, Fish, Hike, Bike, Golf, majestic Views
A charming lakefront cottage in the foothills of the beautiful Berkshire Mountains. Located on a peaceful lake with a private dock & shore-front with gorgeous lake & Mountain views. The cottage is only 75 feet from the lake and private dock. It comes with a canoe, sailboat, two kayaks, a small row boat, paddle board and is pet friendly. Relax in the newly renovated large screened-in porch- that is spacious enough to entertain in while watching the majestic wildlife (blue herons nest nearby and we often see bald eagles). Twin Lakes is known for its great fishing (a trophy lake) This lake (West Twin) has no public access, so it’s very quiet. The cottage can sleep 6 people comfortably. It has two bedrooms (1 queen and 2 twin beds), a queen pullout couch and a bathroom .There is a bright and airy open living room and dining area. Cuddle up on the comfy sofa cozy by the large fire place inside, or enjoy the fresh air toasting marshmallows in the fire- pit on a cool evening. Enjoy cooking your meals on a gas or charcoal grill, while savoring your meal in the sunshine on the large deck facing the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. We have a flat screen TV with WiFi, and central air conditioning. The bathroom was recently renovated and has all new fixtures and stack washer & dryer! We no longer provide linens, We provide fire wood for fireplace and firepit, propane for grill and many other amenities all you have bring is food! We have a new microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. The newly refinished wood floor is beautiful in living and dining area. There are new indoor/outdoor rugs. Every week we have our cottage professionally cleaned. We have a notebook with many suggestions and information on the area. Our “little home” is a perfect place to unwind, enjoy nature, have a great time on the lake, or enjoy the many things to do in this unique area. As you can see we try to make our home as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and are always looking for ways to make your stay the best!!
