Fantastic trip

I felt like I was visiting family. We had everything that we needed and more. There were fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom. The outside living was the best. There were lots of places to sit and enjoy the animals and nature. If I am ever in the area again, I will most certainly stay. I will also recommend anyone I know that is traveling to this area to stay on the farm. Loved it!!!

Wedding Trip l

We needed a small place for the two of us to stay for the weekend as we celebrated the wedding of some friends. This was a perfect location for us, it was clean with lots of welcoming touches including snacks and cold drinks! The fire pit and the friendly farm animals were real highlights and the owners were helpful without being intrusive. Overall, great experience!

Farm life is the life for me

Breathtaking! Our first impression upon arrival at this location was the breathtaking view all around of God's country. This clean and fully furnished and stocked property is on a working farm, so you are surrounded by vast rolling green space filled with horses, goats and the cutest donkey. The host set a bonfire for us in the lovely firepit nightly, which was unexepected yet very appreciated. The host had so many small touches that made our stay feel inviting such as fresh flowers, drinks and treats. There was even a happy birthday treat waiting for my husband upon arrival. The space was clean, comfortable and conveniently located so it was a perfect base camp for all of our adventures. I cannot recommend this host and location enough! You can tell that Jill and her husband truly love sharing their little peace of heaven with others so if you plan on visitng Northern Gerogia, please consider a stay here. You will not want to leave, trust me. of heaven with othersoths.trullhoc

Relaxing & Quality time

My two sons (17 & 11) & I stayed on Jill & Steve's farm to spend some quality time before they started back to school. They were amazing. We loved everything about our stay. I was very impressed with how clean the apartment was upon arrival..even had fresh flowers waiting for us. Loved the pool, the animals, roasting marshmallows at the fire. We brought our puppy along with us as well and she loved it. One day, we had to leave our puppy for several hours and Jill went above and beyond by tending to her while we were away, which meant so much! The day we left, Steve gave my boys real horse shoes, which they thought was awesome!

Very nice guest house

It was a lot of fun having the goats, chickens and horses just outside our guest house. The only downside is that the guest house is right next to the main house and the pool is on the on the other side of the main house. It's not a perfect place for a private romantic getaway. But to be fair, that's not how it was advertised. It is a perfect place for a family get-a-way with young kids. The hosts were wonderful and the room was stocked nicely. Highly recommended! 5-stars all the way.

Best week ever!

From planning our vacation to when we left it was a breeze. Hosts kept in touch with us and answered any of our questions. We felt truly welcomed and everything was very clean, comfortable, and more than supplied adequate . We loved the goats, horses (saw an awesome birth) and a stubborn donkey. The hen had her chicks and the rooster made sure we knew he was there. Every day was something new but always relaxing. Children will love it all. Jill & Steve taught us so much about life on the farm. On top of all that there is a beautiful pool to chill in a fire pit to relax at night. And relaxing we did.

Beautiful place with amazing hosts

This place was perfect. The hosts were so nice and really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay, even including extras like stacks in the house. The farm was beautiful and our dogs also really enjoyed the fenced in yard where we could visit and feed the animals. Everything was perfect, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect!

"Life on the farm" could not have been a better stay. Steve and Jill go out of their way to make this a home away from home. Spotlessly clean, wonderful amenities and many little "extras" made this one of our best VRBO stays EVER! We all thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals the bread and buns that we brought for them. The kids loved the pool. The fire ring made for a perfect night of sitting around and enjoying the family time. The "rules" that are there are all for your own safety and nothing was overbearing at all. They are just common sense for country folk and sweetly informative for city folk. Steve and Jill love the country, love their animals and love showing hospitality to visitors. We couldn't be happier with this stay and heartily recommend it to anyone asking. You will not regret it!

Great weekend away

The stay was great! Everything was set up nicely for us. We brought our dogs with us and all of us had a great time getting to see the horses, cows, goats, and donkey. The fenced in front area was great for the dogs to run around. The pool area was clean and relaxing. We were able to grill out on the propane barbecue and have smores at the the fire pit. There was good lighting outside and they had a flashlight available for us to use as well. Steve was very friendly and checked in with us each day we were there. He even invited us out to a local event where they had bluegrass playing! Unfortunately our toddler needed to go to bed, so we weren't able to go join in the fun. The apartment is well situated where there are restaurants, grocery store, and places to hike within 20+ minutes of the place. Great place to stay if you want a little farm life and be able to go out hiking and come back for a local restaurant or cooking at home.

Relaxing time on the Farm

Jill and Steve's farm is perfect for a country chill out place. The place is spotless, with everything you need. Lots of little antiques placed around to give you the real country feel. The animals were by far the highlight for my 11 and 13 year old. they feed, pet and played with the goats, horses, and even a minature donkey. They had a blast, highly recommend, we will come back. Very accomadating hosts!

Absolutely perfect!!

The home is sparkling clean and fresh!!! Love that! Linens are fresh and sleeping is very comfortable! There were 4 of us. We cooked on the grill and sat by the fire pit and the weather was perfect! The home is private and quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed the property and the goats, chickens, horses, and cows!!!!! We also took a dip in the saltwater pool which was cold but amazing! We definitely will be back when we are over this way as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! Was very relaxing!!!

Such a lovely place

This mini vacation was the most pleasant experience to actually stay on a working farm. The apt was nice with everything we needed and the hospitality was over the top! We enjoyed all of the farm animals and had many goat and horse friends that greeted us whenever we wanted. You can watch them out of every window while on the couch, at the dining table, in bed and even when brushing your teeth! A mother horse name Julie brought her filly to see us every day and I loved watching her run and play. Another favorite was a beautiful white horse named silver who had the bluest eyes I have ever seen for a horse! The goats kept us entertained and we loved feeding all of them. If you want something different to do for a Long weekend or vacation- this is perfect. We went to Star gaze under the very dark sky and ended up with so much more! Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm with us!

Home away from home

Staying at "the farm" has ruined me for staying in a hotel. I can bring my dog and he can run off leash. I can make my meals. The pool is wonderful and always clean. Plus, I sleep better there than I do at home! Jill and Steve are excellent hosts. Jill always goes above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need when I stay.

Perfect family getaway!

The property is just as described! It is so peaceful and beautiful! We watched the sun set from the pool one night and around the firepit another night. One of the mares had just had a foal the week before our arrival and we enjoyed watching them from our window, and feeding Mama! The goats were also adorable! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Made wonderful memories here!

LOVED our stay - didn't want to leave

We LOVED our stay at Circle SJ Farm! Communication from beginning (i.e. reading online about the property) to check out was excellent. Jill went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had minor internet/cable issues during our stay and I only mention it because of how accommodating Jill was in getting it resolved. I have had trouble thinking of how to best describe our overall experience in words. In short, it felt like being welcomed home to how friendly and respectful I remember life being at home 40 years ago. Jill was so generous with her property (i.e. pool and access to animals) especially given that we were travelling with kids and our own dogs. It is such a treasure to find a place like this to stay. We were a little taken aback by some previous comments on this property and just want to offer the advice to read the description well to see if this is the property for you. For those of us who fondly remember farm life when we were younger, this stay was a little slice of heaven. Thank you, Jill, for your generosity!

Peace and quiet

This was a great place to stay. We enjoyed it very much and our dog absolutely loved it because of the large fenced in area. The owners are very responsive to any needs or wants and are very friendly people. I highly recommend this place! We hope to return sometime.

Not many animals present. I expected more animals to be present. Two horses, 4 goats, 3 dogs. Not a very good view, trucks and rusty equipment. More rules than you can imagine. I left early, it was just boring.

Amazing property

We had a great 2 week stay. We loved the rural area but still close enough to anything you need. The animals were amazing. The owner was on top of everything.

S & J Farm

This was my first time staying at a VRBO. The property was beautiful and comfortable. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. The apartment had everything I needed and I loved the decor. I especially enjoyed the pool and the goats. When it was time to leave my dog didn’t want to go and neither did I. Steve and Jill are awesome hosts. We will be back!

Yet only 3 miles to highway 441, 12 minutes to Banks Crossing and Starbucks and civilization if you so desire!

Awesome views of the milky way. We are often in the path of the ISIS and it flies directly over our farm!!!!
Privacy as we are your only neighbors except for the deer, horses, goats and cows!!
Dogs welcome- no cats
Huge fenced yard for them to play!
12 x 45 Salt water pool that has a 9 inch swim out area for the little ones!
Relax on the provided floats or put up the volleyball net and play
Stocked with goggles, dive toys and tubes and floats for the kids along with sun screen!

There are several in North Georgia.

Hiking- Lots of hiking straight up highway 441 to Tallulah Gorge in 45 minutes
Panther Creek is also a nice trail in Hollywood off old highway 441 before Clayton

Toccoa Falls – Toccoa – 20-25 minutes taking a right out of driveway
