Perfect getaway keys

Beautifully furnished two bedroom two bath canal home located in Big Pine Key. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, washer & dryer. Master bedroom with king bed, second bedroom has a queen size bed. Sofa in living room converts to another queen bed if needed. There is a nice screened porch overlooking the canal where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. Big screen TV and WIFI provided. Bicycles available for you to explore the nice quiet neighborhood and nearby Key Deer Refuge and a kayak and snorkeling gear to enjoy on nearby waters. Lots to do in Key West about 30 minutes west and Marathon about 20 minutes east. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping nearby. Only eight miles to Bahia Honda State Park with beautiful beaches and trails. Bring your boat or rent one. Easy Ocean and Gulf access just down the canal. Fish cleaning station right at the back door and a bait freezer and large capacity ice machine on premises.

No smoking allowed inside this home. Some pets may be allowed with prior approval and payment of additional deposit. $5,500 per month plus 12.5% tax and $200 cleaning fee. $500 refundable deposit required. Please note - this rental is available monthly only due to local ordinances. We can not offer shorter stays. Available April, August and September 2024.

Beautiful visit

Parrots Roost was a joy to spend a month in. It had everything we needed. Lots of space to move around in. The ownerwas excellent to work with and most helpful.

Beautiful property/location

Heyward was a great host. The property was as advertised. Super clean. Perfect location (only 1.5 miles from any shopping). Great clean neighborhood with very friendly neighbors.

We enjoyed our stay and will be returning each year. Wonderful hosts - can't say enough positive things about Heyward!! The property is well maintained. The house has everything you need and was better stocked than my own home!! Neighborhood is quiet and nice neighbors. Thank you for an amazing place to stay!!!

The Parrot Perch

The property was lovely, with tropical fruit trees, orchids and palm trees. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch with a fan, great view of the canal. Also the ground level was very nice for sunning and catching the breezeand wonderful spot for eating stone crab claws. The kitchen was well appointed. The neighborhood was great for morning walks. It was a very nice stay.

Great House!

We spent the month of August here. It was a very comfortable house and the kitchen was well stocked. I typically bring all my own kitchen tools because I usually find a minimally stocked kitchen with cheap stuff, not in this case. The owner was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that we couldn’t turn the a/c lower than 75 at owners request/instructions. It was not bad since we were on boat all day but a little warm at night. Overall, great house to stay in.

So glad you folks had a nice stay. Apologies for the AC limit. That was on the advice of the technician who worked on it just prior to your arrival. I would have hated for that unit to die on you during your stay.

Big Pine Key is an ideal vacation destination. Very laid back and relaxing with just enough commercial development to have what’s needed but still a low key getaway. Big time entertainment and nightlife are only 30 minutes away in Key West.
