Clean an perfect for my family.
Very nice unit. Well kept and close enough to peak 9 with only a short walk
Very pleasant. Would definitely come back
Perfect place. Perfect location.
Six of us stayed here. The place is spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect - a short walk to the lifts and to town. Parking is underground for one car. I would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Powderhorn C405. So close to the slopes and town! The condo's kitchen was very well equipped and the place was very well laid out and spacious. We hope to come again! Thank you for thinking of everything! We loved the binder of information --
Convenient and well maintained
Pleasant experience and very nice condo. Conveniently located and plenty of room for all guests. Walking distance to the lifts and hot tubs. Nice place!
Wonderful location but suffering from neglect
Beautifully located condominium near lift. However to describe it as "ski in, ski out" is not true. To reach the lift you must walk in your ski boots about 200 yards. To return you walk about 100 yards. This is certainly close and convenient but not "ski in ski out."
We have stayed in another of the owner's condominiums in the past and found it delightful. Much of the delight was in this unit but there were some serious disappointments.
On the first night one of our party could not sleep in the upstairs loft bed due to the smell of body odor in the blanket!
The dining room chairs have such loose joints they are bound to collapse under someone. They sway like rocking chairs.
The carpet needs serious cleaning or replacing due to many stains. Also its original installation was sloppy giving an impression of carelessness.
All modern TVs are complicated. We were unable to play movie DVDs. There was an unconnected HDMI cord but connecting it did not help. We bypassed the remotes (which sometimes have dead batteries) by using buttons on the VCR unit to no avail. If the system is complicated, instructions should be provided.
There is no recycling in the building.
Pay attention to the description of the bed arrangements. If your group is all adults, you may well find some awkward sleeping quarters. Much of the bed capacity is suitable for children sleeping in their parents' rooms but is inappropriate for unrelated adults.
The upstairs toilet does not flush well, if at all.
The key to the garage did not open the large door. We had to get out of the car and use the side door.
We enjoyed our skiing and our times together but found this lodging to be a disappointment, especially in view of the high price.
Thanks for your comments. The rating is clearly disappointing and for the benefit of other guests I have responded to your points below:-
Blanket – not nice sorry - I have asked housekeeping to ensure it is in the skip and replaced.
Dining chairs have screwed metal brackets -they won’t break.
Carpet – I have asked housekeeping to investigate and they will attempt to fix ahead of our deep clean in mud season.
TV’s all worked at Xmas and so did DVD – Comcast upgraded to a new system for TV and WiFi in fall and we think it is great. I'll try to provide clearer instructions in the guest handbook.
Recycling is repeatedly on the HOA agenda but not implemented yet.
Upstairs toilet – this has been investigated and seems fine. Anything like this will be addressed promptly by Housekeeping if they are informed.
Garage door key works – just a quarter turn of the key needed again I will update instructions.
