This exclusive two-bedroom / two-shower apartment is located in what is by common consensus the very best Paris location of all: the heart of smart St-Germain-des-Prés. The apartment is mere steps from the famed Café Flore and Café Deux Magots institutions, where the Paris intelligencia historically went to sip their coffee. Today the neighborhood is Paris' most sought-after.

The apartment was renovated from floor to ceiling using high-quality materials, fittings and furnishings. An architect and interior designer worked together to bring you a top-drawer result.

The apartment is on the 2nd french floor (third floor US) walk-up (no elevator but short staircase) of a charming restored 18th century building.

The entrance of the apartment opens onto the living room and also distributes the other rooms and separate lavatory. A clever glass-panelled partition in the hallway offers a view of the open kitchen, and a welcome sense of space and brightness.

The living room features two French windows, with ample seating for 4. The floors are finished in magnificent gray-stained hardwood parquet boards. The room is color-coordinated in subtle tones of beiges and grays. The overall feel is one of subdued refinement with a special Parisian cachet. It's a wonderful space to unwind in, with double glazing ensuring peace and quiet.

The contemporary oak kitchen is open on the living room and is fully equipped, including a dish-washer. There is a table and seating for four.

The first bedroom is street-facing (quiet with double-glazing), a queen-sized double bed and generous fitted closets. The room is finished in taupes and contrasting accents of fushia. This bedroom is associated with a stylish marble-clad bathroom.

The second bedroom is courtyard-side, with zenithal light coming in from a large skylight that has a black-out blind. The room is finished in delicate beiges, has a queen-sized bed (that can also be made as two singles) and fitted clothes closet. This bedroom has an ensuite shower area that has been cleverly designed as a luxury boudoir, so it feels almost like small private living room, exclusively for the occupants of the second bedroom.

More than perfect!

I have no words to review this stay. I've rented a lot of apartments before and a few after in this same trip and this one was for far, the best!! It was absolutely perfect! First, the location is unbeatable, in a quiet spot in st Germain. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, big enough. Full kitchen! But what makes this stay perfect, apart from the specifics of the place, was that they thought of every detail. Great beds and linen, lots of linen!! Extra towels everywhere, pillows and covers. This people is not cheap at all! All new appliances, washing & dryer machines, dish washer, toaster, coffee maker. The apartment was also full of everything you will need for the hole stay: lots of toilet paper, soap, washing and dish washer machine's soap, salt, pepper, olive oil, etc etc etc. They even left a welcome bottle of wine prepared with 2 glasses. They offer us transfers from and to the airport, extra cleaning with charge. Two stair that looks like a lot less. Windows facing the street, lots of light. We didn't wanna leave the place!!! Thanks Carole and her assistant for everything!!!

A gem in the heart of Saint Germaine!

A very convenient location! That was why we chose the apartment as well as it having two separate showers, washing machine/dryer, two separate sinks and kitchen. This accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. The apartment is modern and tastefully decorated. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. Carole communicated well with us in advance. Will definitely plan to stay here again! (Note: Natalie, one of Carole's co-workers, was there as we arrived to give us the key and explain facility). So close to everything and cute boutiques!!! You can't go wrong with this!

Great Location and Place - We loved it!

The place was exactly what the pictures reflect. My sister and I spend 5 days there and it could not have been better. Location was great, close to shops, metro and if you like to walk this is the perfect spot. I would highly recommend using their transportation to and from the airport. If we go to Paris again we will stay here for sure. We had a great time Thanks Carole - you were great!

Great apartment close to everything

We loved this apartment for our first week in Paris. Cute and comfortable and close to everything on St. Germain. Carol and her team made us feel welcome from the start and we really enjoyed the apartment and our stay. We'll be back!

FABULOUS Apt in the heart of it all!!!!

This was an awesome apt in the heart of it all- walking to distance to almost all! Great layout with 2 bedrooms- quiet unit but step outside and you are in the heart of St.Germain des Pres! The Owner has a notebook of all the best local restaurants, how everything works in the apt and so on....she was also always on with her email if you had any additional questions. Staying here vs a hotel really made our trip so much more worth it!

We opted for a driver from the airport through the owner and they carried our bags up and down the narrow staircase which was worth the $$$. It is 2 narrow flights up so it can be difficult to get large suitcases upstairs.

Cozy and comfortbale but loud

The apartment is as advertised. It is a fabulous location. It is clean, modern, and very comfortable for a family of four. The reservation and check-in process was efficient. We used the driver that Carole suggested to pick us up at the airport. He met us in the terminal, had the keys to the apartment, and helped us inside. The only issue (which was a big one for us) really has to do with the noise from the street. As described, the apartment sits directly on Blvd. St. Germain, which is a very busy and loud street 24 hours/day. The living room and master bedroom face the street. There are 3 large windows that open but because of the noise, we could rarely keep the windows open. This became problematic because it was rather warm in Paris this week. While there is some sort of portable air conditioner in the living room, it must vent outside through the window and without being able to keep the windows open, we were not able to use it. It is a rather small portable unit regardless and there is no way it could cool much of the apartment anyway. If not for the very loud noise and heat, which made it difficult to sleep on a few of the nights, this apartment is really terrific. We knew that Blvd. St. Germain is busy but based on the other reviews, we booked it anyway. For us, I don't think the way the noise was described by others was accurate. If you don't plan to be in Paris during the warmer months or you don't care about the windows being open or you don't care about the noise, this is a great place at a great price.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you were bothered by the window-open street noise. Most guests did not comment about the noise level because it is typical of a highly central urban location. In fact, thanks to modern and effective double glazing, this apartment is quieter than most. Sensitivity to noise is quite subjective, depending on one's experience of urban locations. Saint-Germain is a highly central Paris location, with everything available within immediate walking distance, and so some window-open city noise is to be fully expected. That is why probably why most guests didn't mention it.
