About Andrew Beard
My wife and I acquired the land in 2011 which is a 10 acre plot. And in late 2014 my wife wrote off to the TV show called "The Treehouse Guys" and asked them to build us a Treehouse. We were accepted to feature on the show and in 2015 they started to build our beautiful getaway, for which was completed in 2016 and our episode was aired in that August. If you would like to see our build from start to finish and have a good laugh then please have a search for Season 2 Episode 11 called "Escape in Hauser Lake". Probably the best place to view would be on Amazon Prime. My wife and I both work internationally, my wife being a Doctor and myself being a Protection Specialist for both the United Kingdom and United States.
Andrew Beard purchased this Cabin in 2011
Why Andrew Beard chose Hauser
Why..... Because we wanted to simply build a getaway that was totally off the grid, something that was different from everything else. There is no TV or Radio but yes there are outlets lol and they have a USB charger for those that can't remove technology and need to charge things. But the design is to do nothing but relax and enjoy the beauty it has to offer.... it's that simple.
What makes this Cabin unique
Fly in to Spokane, Washington State as we are only 30-40 mins away from the airport. North you have Canada which is only 1 hour 30 minutes maybe 2 hours away. With Fishing, Ice Fishing in the winter, Skiing, Boating, Trails... there is just so so much to see.

Amazing experience and beautiful views !
The treehouse is exactly as you would think after viewing the pictures. It was very relaxing with a calming space. I recommend staying here and being among the trees.
The tree house was even more charming and beautiful than the pictures. Very comfortable bed, and to my surprise, my cell phone worked there (I have T Mobile). Be sure to bring drinking water with you or the care taker also offered to bring some. The stars at night are amazing!!
Unique, high quality treehouse
The treehouse was a great place to stay, once we found it. The directions are wonky no matter which direction you come from. Luckily we asked a neighbor where the treehouse was, and she pointed us in the right direction. We still drove by the place, but the caretaker/neighbor guy took us to the spot.
It's an impressive looking structure from the outside, once you make it up the hill, to the walkway. The hill is no joke, with soft dirt and no handrail. You might have to leave grandma in the car for the night.
Once inside, the place is great. It's got a small camp stove for cooking. Solar powered lights provide plenty of light. The memory foam mattress upstairs is very comfortable.
I'd suggest topping a few trees to open up the view of the lake, but partial is better than no view. I'd also recommend some kind of stepping stones or handrail for the dirt hill.
I'd definitely stay here again.
It has a unique feel to it. The most fabulous Tree House we ever seen. Excellent nature, off grid, getaway EVER! The owner was great to talk to, and the treehouse caretaker was responsive, kind and hospitable. Wish we could of stayed longer. The lake was great to spend a few hours, but wanted to soak up as much time as we could in the tree house. Had dinner at Dmac's, the food was amazing the waitress was very wonderful.
Tree House Stay
We spent one night at the Tree House - what a great experience! The tranquility was unbelievable. Had a little issue finding it on our own but a call to the caretaker answered our dilemma. Caretaker was awesome as he supplied us with potable water for coffee as we forgot to bring some. We would definitely stay again when we are passing thru!
