BEFORE YOU BOOK PLEASE READ
From November 1- April 15 please be aware that the Utah Department of Transportation and Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home. Snow plowing on neighborhood roads is provided by local vendors and intermittent. Cottonwood Lodging does not have control over plowing. DO NOT TAKE UBERS OR LYFTS TO THIS PROPERTY. Plan to check in by 8pm to avoid unplowed roads if it is storming and note that this home can accommodate ONLY 4 vehicles preferably parked in the garage so plowing can occur easily.

Awesome summer home with amazing views

This house was amazing. Check-in was very easy and the house was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the layout of the house was very accommodating for our 3 families. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub, and from the balcony, we even saw a moose with her 2 calves on three different days. The drive to the place was very beautiful and there is a restaurant down the way (Silver Fork Lodge) that had good food. The kitchen came with anything you could need to make a great meal. The refrigerator was big and there was plenty of seating for our 11 people (6 adults, 5 kids). The resort pool was also a huge hit with our family. The pool has a small slide and two different hot tubs. Even with Covid, we were able to get reservations each of the days we were there. We were very impressed with the area and would definitely look to stay at this house again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 12 had an excellent time at Monte Vista. Well stocked kitchen(spices, knives, pans, dishes, etc.), great views, large spaces to come together in, and many secluded places for alone time. We were able to ski to the lifts with a little poling, and it was a short hike back.Had a couple of minor issues, but Cottonwood management was very quick and attentive to address them. They also worked with us to accommodate our schedule. I was very happy with the stay and would highly recommend!

Cottonwood lodging has been by far the most attentive, responsive and genuine company I have encountered. Not only was the house top of the line but so was their service. As far as the house itself, it exceeded our expectations. It was stocked with anything you could imagine, including shampoo conditioner and laundry detergent. The toy area under the steps is awesome. The lower level room I had promised to my kids (the one with spiral staircase) and we should have kept it for ourselves! King bed, heated blanket and complete privacy. The home and area were beautiful. Highly recommend both Monte Vista and Cottonwood Lodging!

Great week of spring skiing

Excellent base camp for a week of spring skiing with our family. House is spacious and can easily accomodate multiple families. Hot tub on the deck was a nice way to end each day and is very well maintained.

Christmas Vacation

Monte Vista was exactly what it looked like in the pictures. This house was very clean and well stocked with pretty much everything our family needed. Only five of our family members were able to make it for the trip, so we didn't really utilize most of the house, including the family room downstairs. We would highly recommend this location for larger family gatherings.... as there is plenty of room for everyone. Everyone at Cottonwood Lodging Company was a pleasure to work with before/during our stay.

It was such a delight to show up at Monte Vista and have all expectations met or surpassed. this house is amazing. So much good space, for our whole group. Seperated bedrooms for everyone to have their own personal spot. Location couldnt be better. Quick ski down to the main lifts, then 5 min walk back to the easy access back door. property management made arrival and departure a snap. they were quick to come to any needs we had with the house.
