Updated, clean and well appointed.
The unit was perfect for our family of 4 though could sleep more on sleeper sofa. A short walk to the lift at Solitude. Also a short drive to ski at Brighton which I would recommend.
The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. A great view of the mountain from the living room. Load up on groceries in Cottonwood Heights as there are none at Solitude. All in all a great place and would rent again.
The property was relaxing, great location, well equipped, with accessories so you felt at home
We are a family of 4, two teenage boys. The location was great, close to the slopes, hot tub and on the top floor so quiet. The kitchen was well equipped, with very comfortable bedding. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. TVs in every room, board games and videos which we enjoyed. We will definitely come back.
It was our first trip skiing out West and our first trip to Utah/Solitude/Brighton. We had a fantastic trip and everything went perfectly. We took a less than 40 minute shuttle ride via Canyon Transportation(great and easy) to Solitude Village and were night skiing at Brighton by 4:00 p.m. We were able to check in a little early and the condo was very clean and spacious. Great view from the balcony! The Village was small and quiet, which was perfect for us. This appeared to be end of season for the resort and there were very few people there. The weather was great and it snowed one day of the trip. You can store your skis/poles/boots in a locker room located right outside the main entrance of Eagle Springs West and walk less than 100 yds to the Easy Street slope/ Link ski lift. We had good customer service throughout our trip and correspondence between the owners of the condo was very easy. They provide a booklet via email with everything you need to know. We had a good dining experience at the Stone Haus Pizzeria, but our favorite meals came from the Silver Fork Lodge, which is less than 2 miles back down the mountain. They will come pick you up and carry you back to the village, if you don't have transportation. The only downside of not having your own transportation is we weren't able to stop at a grocery store on our way to the village, so we paid resort prices for all of our meals. The other downside is if you want to night ski at Brighton, you have to take the UTA bus, which isn't the issue. It's free to ride between the two resorts and they pick you up at Moonbeam Lodge, which you can ski the beginner slope down to from the Village around 3:30 p.m. The problem is the bus will pick you up at Brighton and carry you back to Moonbeam Lodge at either 6:01 or 8:36 p.m. Those are the last two pickup times for Brighton. We wanted to continue skiing, but was afraid if we missed the 8:36 p.m. bus, it would be ~2 mile walk in ski boots back to the Village. So, we elected to take the 6:01 p.m. bus back to Solitude each day, but the drivers aren't allowed to drop you at the Village. They have to drop you at Moonbeam Lodge, which closes at 4:00 p.m. So, you have to walk a service road to get back to the Village. It's not a terrible walk, but after a full day of skiing, it can be a little tough walking in ski boots. When we go back, we will either rent an SUV or rent lockers at Brighton and carry regular shoes to walk back in.
Better than the owners' representation.
The unit was exactly as described. It is actually two units that are seamlessly joined into one. The master suite is huge! The kitchen is well equipped and the views are beyond words. Thank you for the outstanding hosting and for sharing your second home!
