What a wonderful place to stay. Host had everything we needed and then some. A wonderful welcome gift, bikes to ride, chairs for the beach! You can see the water from the house. Host quickly responded to any questions and was so kind. I highly recommend this location. Will definitely stay there again!!!
Great place to stay. Decorated so nice but simple. Very clean and has a thoughtfully supplied kitchen. The yard is good for dogs and the location for walking dogs is ideal. Also, perfect for walking to Front Street for shopping, eating and taking a boat out to your island of choice! Laurie responds quickly to any questions. Thank you!
This was our second stay at Beau Tonic on Gordon and it was just perfect. The house is lovely, so clean and comfortable and has everything you could possibly want. Laurie is a wonderful host and responded right away to any question we may have had. Our golden retriever, Molly, loved the back yard. Thank you Laurie for making us feel so welcome. We will be back!! Pete, Ellen and Molly.
The host was great , the property was charming, comfortable and well equipped . Unfortunately the Beaufort Blizzard ruined our stay . The host did everything she could to ensure our comfort .
Host was very accommodating and house was exceptionally well stocked with thoughtful touches. Have stayed twice in the house! Short walk to the water and historic downtown.
Beautiful and well-appointed home! The beds and furniture were comfortable, and we had great communication with the owner. Will definitely try to stay here again when we visit Beaufort in the future.
A beautiful home that gives you the comfort of your own home. Well appointed with everything youâll need for your stay. Location is perfect. We were lucky enough to meet the owners who wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Plus, the owners asked for feedback on anything they could do to make our, and future renters, stay better. We spent six wonderful days on our visit and are looking forward to our next trip to Beaufort. Weâll definitely stay here again. Laurie and Gary have created a wonderful, relaxing home to spend your time away.
We loved our stay at this amazing cottage!! The host has thought of everything to create a beautiful and comfortable spaceâŠcomfy furniture, beautiful art, well stocked kitchen. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Beaufort! Thanks so much and we really enjoyed the bottle of wine!! Patti and Jim
The host exceeds all expectations! Very prompt with responses. Unbelievably welcoming, even for our pet. Her organization and suggestions were better than we have had in other places. We will be back!
This is a very well equipped, dog friendly cottage. All 3 of us humans and 2 little dogs loved it. The kitchen has everything you'd need. There are 3 TVs (living rm, master bedroom, and the sunroom off the kitchen), so everyone can find their favorite program. For the doggies, there's a fully fenced backyard. We prepared a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with addl family who joined us. And the house was fully decorate for Xmas!
My husband and I are from Durham, NC and currently live in Raleigh. We both grew up coming to the beaches in Carteret County and have always loved it. Our honeymoon was in Indian Beach and Beaufort has always been our happy place.
This is a peaceful, sunny home and you feel good as soon as you walk in the door. We've tried to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy and get the most out of your stay. It's perfect for a rest and rejuvenation break and equally as perfect for an active, full speed ahead vacation. Everyone is very friendly and there's always something to do. We love the small town feel of the area and the beautiful nature that surrounds us. It truly is our Beaufort Tonic and our small piece of paradise.
We love our front porch and many a bottle of wine has been consumed watching the horses on Carrot Island and the boats drifting down Taylor's Creek. We love being able to walk to Blue Moon, Aqua or Beaufort Grocery for dinner or down to the Dockhouse for some music. You won't want to miss the Beaufort Wine and Food Festival or the Summer Party hosted by the Beaufort Historical Association. Take a water taxi over to Shackleford or Bird Shoals and do some shelling. Atlantic Beach is just minutes away by car . The NC Maritime Museum is special and features all things related to Blackbeard the Pirate and Cape Lookout is breathtaking.
