Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 3 full Baths, (Sleeps 8-10) handicap equiped
RATES ARE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE REQUESTING TO STAY.
WE are now handicap accessible. Please review photographs.
FYI - internet is NOT available. First reason, our regular guest request that we don't have internet so the kids/teenagers spend quality time with the family and not the rest of the world. Second, we do NOT have cable , (it does not run down our street) but satellite DISH for TV. So, if one child downloads the limit in one day (like our grand kids in our home) there is no Internet for the rest of the month until it changes over.
HORSES! HORSES! Need something different? Need Peace and Quiet? We have it. This is the 'Farm House' you will see why when you look out the window and see the red barn and horses grazing in the back yard. IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR HORSES - WELCOME! IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED HORSE RIDER YOU CAN RIDE OUR HORSES!
Inside, each room is eloquently decorated in an 'old Farm House' fashion! In the master bedroom (upstairs) you will find a king size bed, TV, electric fireplace and a large Jacuzzi tub, shower with double sinks in the master bathroom. There is a queen size bed and two double beds in the two other bedrooms upstairs. In the middle of the two bedrooms is a large bathroom.
Downstairs is the OPEN kitchen area with a dining room, two glass slider doors for optimum view of the horses and creek. A large laundry room, living room and TV sitting room. Everyone enjoys the downstairs as the children can be in the TV sitting room and adults in the living room or kitchen as its an open concept.
The TV sitting room has French doors that can be closed off for a private bedroom with the large sofa (that makes into a queen bed) and a love seat. There is also a full bathroom in the sitting room.
We are handicapped accessible. There is ramp on the side of the house for a wheelchair or walker. (its on the side you can see but we just made it handicap so the picture may not show it). Once on the porch there is a 6 inch threshold into the house. In the downstairs bath room there is a lifted handicap toilet seat and handrail for the shower. The TV room has a sofa bed and we try to make it as comfortable as possible by adding an air mattress and feather down comforter. No one has complained about the bed and we have had good reviews on it.
There is a wrap around porch on the front. Its nice to sit in the rocking chairs or porch swing to listen to nature. On the back porch you find a gas grill with a wrought iron table and chairs to enjoy the sound of the creek in the backyard and watch the horses. The back yard has a picnic table and a fire pit where you can cook marshmallows or smores.
If you like nature and enjoy the peacefulness of being in the country away from the fast city life, this house is for you! When you look out the windows you see nature at its best with trees all around, a creek surrounds the property and horses will come through the back yard walking or running to the next pasture. You can hear the whippoorwill, owl, turkey, wood peckers, and see the eagles, ravens and hawks - Kids love it! The cabin is located on 10 acres of land, you can hike around the property. You don't have to worry about the cabin hanging off a cliff or being terrified of steep mountainous roads. There is a front and back yard for the kids to play. The house is about 2500 square feet. There are 3 TV's, 2 DVD players and a Stereo system in the cabin.
It is located about five miles from the entrance of the Smoky Mountains in beautiful Wears Valley, 10 miles from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Check out the photos for complete pictures of the house and surrounding area or email me.

About Pamela Huddleston
My husband retired and loves taking care of the animals. It's so relaxing to both of us.
Pamela Huddleston purchased this Farmhouse in 2005
Why Pamela Huddleston chose Sevierville
We chose Wears Valley to retire from the hectic life of the city. We went from City Slickers to Green Acres (TV show) with some of the same experiences, and we love the change.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
Its wonderful to look 360 degrees around the house, see and hear nothing but nature and watch the animals grazing and playing. Its SO RELAXING! No one around, no cabins to look at, kids and pets can run around in the front and back yard without worry.

Great stay for a relaxing time
the house was very nice. Big enough for a large family. Clean and very well kept. The location was very quite and relaxing. Had fun watching the horses. Nearby restaurants had great food and the people were friendly. Will definately go back.
Loved, loved, loved the Farm House!
Absolutely charming farmhouse with everything you need! Perfectly located, perfectly secluded, and just the right distance to Pigeon Forged and Gatlinburg. It was very peaceful and extremely clean and well kept. Pamela left us with a lot of information on what to do, how to get there the back way, and what to look out for! We had a very nice and yummy welcoming surprise when we arrived at the Farm House. Our family loved the horses, chickens, and ducks! We could not have found a better place to stay!
Thank you for the kind review. Keep us in mind for your next trip to the Great smoky mountains. :)
Awesome property! Tons of room and you are one with nature hear, quiet and relaxing!
We had a great time, Pam is very accommodating and the property is amazing! The only downfall to our trip was that it wasn’t long enough! The animals are precious!! And Pam’s brother and sister in law are sweet! They even went out of their way to mail me back my missing toothbrush! I can’t say enough good things about this property or the owners!!
We are so glad you had a wonderful stay at the FARM HOUSE. We try to make it comfortable for everyone. I hope to see you again. Pamela
Peaceful and Private Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the Farm House. The home is spacious and well-kept and is extremely peaceful. During our stay we heard just a few cars per day on the road and never any cars at night. The rear of the home faces a creek and mountainside with horse pasture on both sides and more mountainside in front. The large kitchen and dining area is a real plus for dining in. Our only regret is that the weather during our stay was too cold to take advantage of the rocking chairs on the porch, the rear deck, the fire pit and the hammock! Basic amenities and a few restaurants are just minutes away in Wears Valley, or you can drive just 10 minutes or so to Townsend for a larger variety of restaurants and stores. You are also just minutes from the back door road that will take you to Gatlinburg and the National Park welcome center through the mountains instead of the often busy parkway. Pam was very easy to work with and communicated promptly with us. We highly recommend the Farm House.
Thank you so much for the review. We are very happy that you enjoyed your Stay and the accomdations. Glad you made it home safely. 🐴🐴🐔🐔🐶🐶
