Why SunRay Kelley & Bonnie Howard chose Sedro-Woolley
My property is part of my Grandfather Janicki's original homestead. Grandma and Grandpa were Polish immigrants. My Mother moved with Grandpa and Grandma to Western Washington from Chicago in 1920. She was the oldest of 10 children and was the first one in her family to speak English. The old growth cedar trees had been logged from the property when my Grandfather bought the land. I grew up on Cultus Mountain playing on those big old growth stumps, climbing trees and building forts in the woods. I never lost my love of doing those things.

Bonnie was welcoming and so accommodating. The fairy cottages were enchanting. The property was peaceful. We are so thankful to have been able to spend our wedding night in such a wonderful space.
SunRay and I felt so honored to host Deborah’s small and lovely wedding!
I do believe they had as much fun as we did setting up for a Halloween evening wedding light up by bon fire! Blessings to the newly weds, Bonnie and SunRay
Unplug and breathe
Had a relaxing stay. Bed was ridiculously comfy and the wood stove ($20 for them to get it going for you) kept me nice and toasty in below 30s temperatures. Outdoor kitchen is really nicely stocked with a four-burner propane range, full-size fridge, cooking oils, and all the needed plates/utensils/cookware/etc. Just expect the dish soap and oils to be solid in very cold weather! Lovely property and dwellings, trees, and trails to explore. Recommend!
This is an inspiring place full of artistry and craftsmanship. The setting is lovely, with woods and ponds and creeks, along with the amazing structures. We loved it and can't wait to come back again some day!
An exceptional place on the earth
It's a special experience, even a privilege, to spend time amidst these beautiful works of artistry that help us reconnect with nature, being so in tune with nature themselves. Sunray's dwellings are creations of a genuine imagination. Highly recommended.
Whimsical and welcoming
Not your average vacation destination. Hand built with lots of creative touches! We had fun exploring the property and meeting the other visitors, everyone was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Thank you for a sweet, quick getaway!
