This was a lovely stay. The property celebrates nature, creativity, and craftsmanship. It was nice to explore the woods and all the ponds and streams and homes and structures, the orchard trees, the flowers, everything. It's a very tranquil serene place, perfect to disconnect and get in touch with nature and our deeper selves. We had the most relaxing time here, it was perfect. Ray upgraded us to the Garden House which felt very special to us. Bonnie was also super welcoming and accommodating even though we arrived super late. We offered to come the next day to avoid inconveniencing her, but she was so sweet not wanting us to miss the night. Everyone at the property was very friendly and welcoming.
The place has a lot of charm. It fit us perfectly but it's not for everyone. It's rustic, all made from scratch, there are cobwebs in various corners that are in harmony with the space and not in the way at all (I'm afraid of spiders and these didn't bother me one bit because they fit so well). We really appreciated all the work that went into creating this space, the architecture, the decorations, the gardens. For us it was simply a joy to explore what other people have created with love and passion.
Probably the highlight for us was the beautiful bathtub in the room. It was so inviting and so well placed, with the views of the mountains, forest, and the pond. We can't wait to come back again to try out one of the smaller cabins as well.
