It was a beautiful place for our family to stay for a few days. It was spectacular to see all the fall colors, very picturesque! Greg was great to communicate with and we appreciated the quick responses to all our questions.

The property is beautifully aligned for amazing sunsets, access to the beach, and a clear lake for swimming. Outdoor dining, fire pit, a gas grill and Blackstone made for evening dining and storytelling as the sun set. Well appointed kitchen and multiple bathrooms made the home very comfortable for our weeklong stay with our two young families and us. Relaxing and fun getaway!

September: This was the perfect spot for six couples traveling north to trail ride with Ranger/Razers in the Remer area. Weather was great, Trees starting to turn, Fun wildlife! (Bobcat!!) We found an old snowmobile trail full of ruts w/deep water. Took in the area restaurants along the trails. Ended our trip relaxing and reminiscing around the fire, and invited our host, Greg, to join our gang. Greg is a wealth of knowledge about Thunder Lake, the surrounding area, enjoyed the history and comradery. Would definitely go back to snowmobile/ice fish, or spur of the moment trail riding.

We rented the house for a week, had our 3 grown children, 2 significant others, 2 grandchildren and a mother in-law along. The house is beautiful, very well stocked and spacious. The beach and sport court were great for the littles. The lake is clear, and beautiful. The dock worked well for our 20ft Malibu, as did the public launch. There is a sandbar nearby, which was a great place to hang out and let the kids play. Lake wasn't really busy, even on the weekend. The owner gave us a quick walk through and was great to deal with. Can't think of anything that we would change about the place. Already planning on booking next summer.

Amazing Home and Location!

We had a larger group (8 adults, 6 kids) spend a great weekend at this amazing lake house. The house was spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything you need for a great time at the lake. We spent a lot of time at the beach area, making use of the paddle boards, beach toy and beach chairs. Greg was very responsive and answered any questions right away. We’ll be back again next year!

My family and I got there and learned the owner will be staying in the property just 20 ft away. This was advertised as "private executive retreat." And there were cameras at the front and back of the house and we weren't told of that. Pillows were very flat. No accommodations for pillows we had to drive 45 min to buy new ones. Frequent septic siren too also made it hard to enjoy our stay always being told we are over using water, causing the siren trigger even in the middle of the night when no one was awake to use water.

This is an exceptional property! The house is amazing and we had plenty of room to spread out. The basketball court and pool table were a hit! Just something to note: the "fitness center" is primarily a basketball court and has no fitness machines or barbells. The lake was one of the highlights of our stay. It was easily accessible from the dock for fishing, canoeing, and paddleboarding, and we spent much of our time enjoying the water.Overall, we would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. The only drawback for us was the lack of laundry facilities. We overlooked that detail when booking and didn't pack enough clothes, especially with so much time spent at the lake. One other thing to be aware of is that, although the property feels very private, someone walked through the front driveway area each day. Also, the master bathroom window faces the front driveway and doesn't have a window covering, which made it feel less private than we expected.

This property was even nicer in person. The house was well equipped. Greg (host) greeted us on arrival and made sure we knew where everything was and had everything we needed. He told us to text if we needed anything. He was very responsive when we texted him. There is no access to a washer/dryer so I had to go to the laundromat which was 20 minutes away in Longville. The one 10 minutes away was closed for repairs. It’s my fault I didn’t notice that washer/dryer access was not in the listing. I mention it here so anyone else who rents this beautiful home packs enough for the length of stay. I would definitely stay here again.

A great family vacation enjoyed all around! Greg and Allison are great hosts. Communicated promptly with any questions before and while we were there! We loved Thunder Lake! Rented a pontoon boat for boating about the lake, fishing and traveling over to dinner at Deer Haven x2!The Master suite was a treat and a lovely, quiet retreat from all of the activity when we needed. The table fit all 10 of us, adults and littles! On a couple of occasions, the gym was what we needed for the kiddos ranging from 5 to 1. Scootering, balance bikes, tossing and catching balls, and running around… are what kept our little people active on a rainy day. The beach area was just perfect for all of the kids with their sand buckets. Fishing off the dock was just as fun for some as in the boat! Our family made some lovely memories here! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Happy 4 th of July to you and your family.
